07/10/2016 15:56 | September saw ave daily exports of 564,808 bopd (Aug - 411,727) at $36.10 ($32.44) raising $611m gross ($414m). IOCs allocated $75m so expect payment RNS shortly from GKP/GENL/DNO. We may be turning a corner here and if so GENL equity very cheap IMO and could re-rate quite rapidly. | helicopter123
07/10/2016 15:41 | Latest KRG oil report makes for encouraging reading. Sales up, price achieved up. If volumes continue to improve, and $50 oil holds, KRG in a much stronger position to resume payments. | helicopter123

07/10/2016 11:29 | Actually the last payments for Tawke and Taq Taq covering July included the full amounts invoiced for July plus something towards historical amounts invoiced. Its getting better and the improved oil price will ramp up receiveables. | deccer1
07/10/2016 11:04 | reason we are not being paid is they have too many expenses increase the amount of money they have and they have less problems paying, if you are trying to be negative at least think a bit before posting. | pogue
07/10/2016 10:36 | yes. you still have to be paid though | money4me
07/10/2016 09:00 | money, an increase in oil price definately does contribute to increased revenues and much more proportionally than the increase in price. There is a little gem of information relating to the exported component of the production in the 6 month results on 28/7/16 : "Pipeline export realisations for Taq Taq and Tawke for the period are estimated by Genel at $35/bbl and $28/bbl respectively. These figures are based on Platts Dated Brent less a $5/bbl discount for Taq Taq and $12/bbl for Tawke, with $4/bbl of these discounts reflecting handling and transportation costs. Brent averaged c.$40/bbl in H1 2016." i.e. Brent at $40/bl gives: Tak Tak $40 - $5 = $35 and Tawke $40 - $12 = $28. So with Brent now at $50 that will give: Tak Tak $50- $5 = $45 (+28%) and Tawke $50 - $12 = $38 (+ 35%). So Brent rising from $40 to $50 translates into a 28% increase in unit revenues from Tak Tak and a 35% increase in revenues from Tawke. | deccer1
07/10/2016 08:59 | However rising oil price means more money for landlords hence more chance of being paid. | pogue
06/10/2016 22:49 | This will rise when there is some kind of definitive indication that IS have been neutralised - the oil price rising is only good for the landlords. | mbmiah
06/10/2016 16:13 | Money, you hit the nail on the head there, as we all know, markets don't like uncertainties and just recently thas exactly what we've had re lack of payments. Until they can have a years payments paid in full and on time then the markets will shun genl. IMHO ďyor etc | valhalla3 |
