11/2/2019 12:05 | "We did better with a news blackout." lol.. Goodness knows how the share price would react to the signing of a gas deal? Better keep quiet. Brent $61.96 | cyan

11/2/2019 09:56 | Problem is none of the updates have helped the share price, all of these up to now have fell on deaf ears...what will it take to get some upward traction? | kulvinder
11/2/2019 09:47 | Nothing wrong with that update on reserves. Reassuring, in fact. Brent looking better now $62.12 | cyan
11/2/2019 07:31 | tweet; According to international petroleum consultants DeGolyer and MacNaughton, on a gross basis year-end 2018 1P reserves stood at 348 MMbbls, unchanged from 2017 after adjusting for production of 41 MMbbls and upward technical revisions of 41 MMbbls. | nicebut
11/2/2019 07:13 | And dno? sorry need to catch up with other things at the moment | linton5
11/2/2019 07:08 | Another update | teamwork1
10/2/2019 12:26 | I wonder if the Tawke decline has anything to do with production constraints? Have they taken Tawke wells off line allowing the `new` Peshkabir wells to produce at an optimal rate- extended test if you like? Then when increased production can be handled Tawke along with new wells can be brought back on line, obviously increasing over all Tawke production. Or is a c10k drop-off in a few months normal? Apparently Genel won`t answer this- We have to look to DNO for answers. I`ll try to find out next week by contacting DNO. | nicebut
08/2/2019 17:58 | Not too bad, managed to get in, so bring on the Gas news :-) | wapit

08/2/2019 14:47 | Not long to wait for us to find out which way the negotiations are going, we have all waited this long to get the Gas News.... I repeat; 31 January 2019 Genel Energy plc Extension to Bina Bawi and Miran conditions precedent Genel Energy plc ('Genel' or 'the Company') has agreed with the Kurdistan Regional Government to extend the deadline to meet the conditions precedent related to the Bina Bawi gas lifting agreement ('GLA') until 30 April 2019, allowing time to finalise the ongoing commercial discussion. The deadline to meet the conditions precedent relating to the Miran GLA has also been extended, until 31 May 2019. -ends- | kulvinder
08/2/2019 14:30 | critical word is 'finalize' If the KRG and MNR wanted rid of GENL; it would have happened by now. Its , imo, obviously with a prospective "commercial" partner | cyan
08/2/2019 14:17 | `on going commercial discussion` is with the MNR- Not necessarily a 3rd party? Vigo chap trying to see if there`s any more meat on this line- what it means. | nicebut

08/2/2019 13:28 | It`s quite easy to get disillusioned after good news if the share price doesn`t behave as expected...I think there`s a seller ...so direction, while annoying, is not that unexpected, if you see what I mean I think there needs to be more on Tawke, I agree, it`s as if they`ve taken a few wells out to `clean` them up or something- The recent drop off is too great for gradual decline. I might ring them.. Re Gas...They`re not going to say anything I doubt re delicate talks. | nicebut
08/2/2019 13:02 | I think we need some balance. I'm still long and in for the end game in the hope of achieving full value (i.e. £5+). But the decline on Taq Taq which initially sent the share price tumbling now seems to be replicated by Tawke (which in my reading is down 25% on output in a year). This may be because of a lack of investment or maybe natural decline in the wells - we don't know. This means that all the added output from Pesh hasn't done much more than offset Tawke's decline. The bullish case is that they have an aggressive drilling programme to maximise value from these assets, and given the record so far of success from Pesh, this looks likely. There is also the huge free cash flow that is underpinning everything at the moment and the tie-up with Chevron, which looks exciting. The gas deal is still a mystery. The bull case is that this looks imminent and talks are being finalised. The bear case, I guess, is that the authorities are fed up with things as they are and have granted only short term extensions. Again, who knows - the company has told us very little. It would be interesting to know what others think, and whether I have made mistakes in the above. | nicksig
08/2/2019 12:53 | You get 5 pieces of good RNSs but some ii is selling so the price doesn`t rise, it drops. That`s the reason but folk seem to think something else is up...But you have to remember the good news and at some point the seller will be clear, hopefully. :) | nicebut
08/2/2019 12:48 | I`m back in now for the long haul! Good luck all | upwego
08/2/2019 12:11 | allowing time to finalise the ongoing commercial discussion they're testing your resolve boys, boomage imminent | kris akabusi |
