02/2/2024 17:04 | MBO for 9p a share | mindthestash
02/2/2024 16:26 | Will go private for peanuts imo | davethehorse
02/2/2024 14:17 | Hahaha… I think everyone has made their point. I wonder what are the chances that this one will go even in a couple of months like let’s say SDRY…. | bobex
02/2/2024 13:03 | Fair enough. Still interested to know why one or two think an imminent fund raise is in the offing? | dcroston
02/2/2024 11:11 | Just stating my opinion at this current point in time, nothing to do with the past, I sold out at 18p at a loss and am not tempted to buy back in | davethehorse
02/2/2024 07:11 | Was just looking on the PDL thread and it's mostly DaveTheHorse. He appears to like PDL and even promoted GEMD back in July on that thread. Everyone is entitled to their view of course but DaveTheHorse's view appears to change with the wind? | dcroston
01/2/2024 19:17 | Dave is just very sore as he invested to much here, bottled it and sold at a loss. He spent a year ramping it to death. There's about 30m in stones to be sold... Come on Dave, get over it pal and move on.. | currencytrader1
01/2/2024 19:05 | Nor sure why anyone thinks cash is required in terms of a fundraising. I just don't see it. A very large stone still to be sold in Jan, 15 to 20m USD. Then there's over 5000 unsold carats from Q3 which based on avg value per carat that's another 6m USD. STRONG buy for me. | dcroston
01/2/2024 15:57 | Okay, so current share price based on renumerations. Fair enough. | dcroston
01/2/2024 15:25 | Have a look at their salaries and share rewards...enough said... | davethehorse
01/2/2024 13:53 | davethehorse, I'm not sure what you mean about Director's rewarding themselves. Do you believe something underhand? Or are you just not happy with their performance and company share price? | dcroston
01/2/2024 13:24 | The directors have no shame....company on its knees and they keep rewarding themselves....shamef | davethehorse
01/2/2024 08:44 | Cash call in 2024 coming by the looks of the burn rate, as others have said its a Director lifestyle company.... | davethehorse
01/2/2024 08:34 | So to summarise, they manage to burn through half of facilities in little over a quarter that's some going, and then spend a further $9m after the period. Are extracting ever decreasing larger diamonds, and quality falling, they are in-sourcing stuff, which adds cost and risk. There is a reason it appears cheap as chips, and it's simple - CASH BURN - with no cash = no business, = major discounted issue or worse next to nothing for current holders whilst management get to fight another day. At this rate they will be coming for cash in spring, rather than summer, the only positive surprise the shares have not gone down further, but surely they will this is a dire update, can someone tell captain Kirk to beam back and get the hell out, the planet is about to implode, always leaving it to the last minute.... | chriss911911
29/1/2024 18:25 | Quite eye opening read. Not sure what comparisons can be made but it certainly makes GEMD seem awfully cheap and vulnerable if you ask me. | dcroston
26/1/2024 17:48 | Not without risk, and i feel sorry for those that are sat on big losses but It's cheap as chips at these prices. IMHO. | dcroston
25/1/2024 16:09 | Bottom line: hardly any major issues. The price has been tricked and there’s nothing one can do. Either hold on or sell and that’s it. Oh, and perhaps keep buying using any leftover. That’s what I do. | bobex
25/1/2024 10:42 | The Feasibility Study for the proposed underground mine was supposed to have been completed in Q4 2023. As far as I am aware there has been no recent comment on this. The current open pits are scheduled to run until 2040 so there's no great rush. A Capital raise to fund an underground mine would be horribly dilutive so let's hope that Underground has been firmly kicked down the road. | caiman47
24/1/2024 22:34 | Taken fron the above article: In the medium- to longer-term, there will be times the industry runs into supply shortages because of this. | dcroston
24/1/2024 15:09 | The index rose recently buy is still wsy way down and has flattened out again, would need to see the latest update before further comment | davethehorse
24/1/2024 14:11 | The current mine plan extends to 2040....plenty of mining to do above ground. | dcroston
24/1/2024 12:27 | Diamond 💎 prices will increase one day and who knows if not even dramatically and then stocks like this will follow. It’s just all about the market cycles. Not all but very much. Today the index picking up | bobex
24/1/2024 11:21 | I can't see anyone going for a capital raise in the diamond sector at these prices. They can't sekl the stuff and cancelled actions etc.... It just won't fly. They'll have to eek out existing resource Base. Doldrums..... | mindthestash
24/1/2024 07:41 | Capital raise required is one if the underground is to go ahead | davethehorse
23/1/2024 20:12 | My reborn little positiveness is mostly based on two points: It may no longer be so easy to keep bringing the share price down and second: I can't remember any RNS, which could justify the share price as it stands. But who knows what’s in store. | bobex |
