Greedfear - I wouldn't worry too much about GCL - it often dawdles because of bagholders like Que Passa before it makes up for lost time. It tends to overdo it once it gets going! The current price is a gift!

Spot up to $62.50/lb. SPUT trading above NAV so the ATM has turned back on again to allow them to first refill their coffers, then restart buying U3O8. North American miners on fire.🔥Ԃ93;🔥

Here's Kuppy on Uranium:

They should do buy backs. This is lagging. Uranium sector on fire. And this, this… no words.

Still a lot of selling despite the NAV grinding higher and discount getting bigger.

Good start Up 3.2% at 49p on volume of 147000. Looks as if it’s having another go at 50p.

Not sure that 180K sale was the wisest move. Orano stops processing Uranium ore in Niger. Niger provides about a quarter of Europe's Uranium. Numerco already reporting a tick up in spot.

Quite a strong day for the big holdings today, plus spot ticked up again to $61.25/lb, so expect NAV to rise again tomorrow.

Indeed.

And this will benefit both Geiger and Mega Uranium.

Geiger is 22.6% invested in NexGen.

Mega is majority ( approx 90% ++ ) invested in NexGen.

Interesting to compare and contrast the current discount-to-NAV of Geiger vs. Mega Uranium.

ALL IMO. DYOR.

US and Canadian markets closed today. However, Nexgen was up over 10% in Oz trading overnight.

Yes,

Oz portfolio members Alligator, Bannerman and Paladin all up strongly overnight, but won't factor into NAV until tomorrow. Still below the NAV issued on Friday, for Thursday and today's NAV ought to be up a bit on that.

BOOM 💥

Cameco $CCJ $CCO downgrades 2023 production forecast by 2.7m lbs. Cigar Lake down to 16.3m lbs from 18m lbs prior. McArthur River/Key Lake 14m lbs from 15m lbs prior. Equipment reliability, supply of materials & reagents and availability of skills cited as major issues.

I guess this impacts Orano too, part owner of the CCO assets and also facing its own difficulties in Niger.

GCL mentioned in this FT article.

If you don't have a subscription, google: "Retail investors pile into Uranium".

There's a few mistakes in the article, but good to see some coverage in the FT.

NAV published late on LSE today. Not on adfvn apparently. 52.13 undiluted, 49.73 diluted.
