Manipulated. Getting sick and tired of all the manipulation happening everywhere. You can bet your #ss that if a relatively lot of private investors have holdings there’ll be manipulation. I’ve got a lot of holdings in different sectors where any positive news gets punished with a lower share price. Every time. Mind boggling.

It does seem rather odd that spot is rising, yet the miners are down again. The Uranium sector certainly tests your patience.

Do these daily NAV updates incur costs? I read somewhere that an RNS costs £300 - if so and unless they get a bulk discount it's costing about £60k pa. In which case I'd be very happy for them to post regular updates on the fund's web page instead.

Equities mostly slightly down. But Numerco reporting a very wide spread at 83-86 with mid up ~1.50 at 84.50/lb.

Solid North America session on Friday.

Majority uranium stocks showing gains of 2% to 4%

Importantly, Geiger's largest holding, namely NexGen, was up almost 4%.


Also worth noting is that NexGen hit a new intraday ALL TIME HIGH of US$6.89 and settled just shy of that at $6.87.

However, after-hours trading in NexGen show that the share price surged yet another percent higher to $6.95, creating yet another ALL TIME HIGH.

Expecting NexGen to break through the seven dollar milestone in short order.



Mega Uranium - majority invested in NexGen- was up almost 5% on the day and equally making new ALL TIME HIGHS at C$0.45. - Mega is now up more than 150% since first mentioned by me on this bulletin board seven months ago in May.


All this bodes well for Geiger. Expecting a boost to Geiger's share price next week.

Spot steady but Uranium equities down a bit again. Frustrating.

Total BLOW-OUT half-year figures just released by Yellow Cake this morning:-

" Profit after tax for the half-year of USD458.8 million (30 September 2022: loss of USD145.5 million)."


An unmissable review of the up-to-date state of the uranium markets.


Two snippets:-

"We remain very confident in our strategy, and the long term outlook for uranium."

and

"These market factors may continue to prevail and exert upward pressure on the uranium price, both spot and long-term. As annual volumes under newly negotiated term uranium contracts increase, associated prices may need to rise to incentivise necessary uranium development, placing incremental pressure on near-term uranium prices."


Well done to Yellow Cake.


Bodes extremely well for Geiger and the prospects for the uranium markets.

68.35p undiluted NAV, 63.25p fully diluted.

Surely 60p share price cannot be far away, although there might be a bit of resistance to overcome.

Geiger actively Buying Back shares again.

Four significant Buybacks in under a week.


That will get noticed,tighten the market, stimulate the price and compress further the discount.

Very positive for reducing the D2N and therefore supporting the share price.
