Hi Que! Do you work, too or is this a full time occupation?

You could say the same for any of these ETFs like URA and URNM/URNP and Closed End Funds like GCL. They are "dirt cheap" compared with Spot Uranium and the vehicles that hold Uranium. As this fellow says they could run between 3 to 5X from here.

And remember, when you buy, provided you hold until the start of May, you get the dilution rights. So the actual NAV is the higher one.

Not one to complain BUT latest NAV up 6p from previous day whilst share price up only 3p!!!!

This is not the first time by any means so despite increased share price the discount to NAV also rising
🤔🤔🤔

"An insanity bubble" lol!

It wouldn't be the first time, but this bubble has some foundation other than hype.

Up 4.1% already as you would expect from the strong performance of the underlying assets in Australia last night.

Ozzie GCL portfolio members up strongly at the open

PDN +8%
BMN +6.5%
AGE +13%, yes +13%.

Other popular Ozzie names like LAM, 92E, LOT and DYL up ~8+%

Things are hotting up.

👀👀

This, from Twitter is allegedly from Kuppy's newsletter. Even if it's only partially true, it's potentially explosive.

So in this particular case, the proper discount to consider when making investment decision is the undiluted NAV as what you buy also include the underlying warrant/option entitlement, which is different from other investment trusts which already have warrants being traded in the market.

Yes so surely the most likely scenario is a rise heading up to 30 April followed by a drop on 1 May when the entitlement lapses (other things being equal of course). It might be worth looking back to last year to see what happened ahead of the ex date then.

I'm surprised but it is significant. I had thought people would sell to free up cash to exercise the rights they already had whereas in fact you need to buy to secure the rights.

Yes that's how I understand it, X subscription rights on 1st May 2024.

I've reread the subscription rights and was wrong. I thought if you held on 30 April 2023 you had the right on 1 May 2024 to buy at the 2023 NAV That's not right. If you hold on 30 April 2024 you get that right. So in other words you are actually buying now at the higher undiluted NAV as you are acquiring the dilution rights.

That was some day across the sector. At some point mid afternoon I tried to put a GCL buy order in but couldn't online, tried a sell order and same - had to phone broker. Heavy volume all day by the looks. Interesting week or 2 ahead

SPUT on fire. Raised about US$56m, bought 100,000 lbs and now has $62.9m on hand for further purchases. Plenty of cash to buy more lbs, if they're available. NAV almost $6.6bn. Stage is set for further appreciation in the U3O8 price.

Very strong finish for the miners and spot at $103.50/lb mid.

Should see a big increase in NAV on Monday.

Say hello to the 60's.

But it wouldn't surprise me if the FD NAV is close to or even above 70p/share in Monday's RNS, so the discount will widen again.
