Some very good news for the shorters of GATE shares this week.

They can now trade the shares back that they shorted at 20P for 20P. !!!!

What is wrong with you?

Are you broken?

Have you ever held gate?

Of note is your broker may well not have the shares to change out of their system,(into cert form that you require to sell on a matched bargain basis)

The market (AIM) may not have the stock to send to your broker in the first place.!!

Have no fear you have a contact and the market has to deliver.

Now the company has set up not one but Two trading platforms the backlog should soon be cleared.

However it does mean the MM take a massive hit, then, again it was they who took on the risk selling short in the first place.

Well at least the shorters and the market makers on AIM now have two markets in which to buy back stock through.

£10.00 a share might seem rather cheap though is produces a 50 fold loss for anyone who went short at 20P (old shares) back in the spring.

I know if it was me and my shares had yet to be delivered I would be on to my broker and demanding them.!!

BRITDAQ EXCHANGE

Gate Ventures Plc has registered with a share trading platform called 'Britdaq'. Britdaq offers "share matching services" which will provide shareholders with a means to buy and sell shares online. It is intended that this will compliment the existing Capita platform. This new service has gone live.

You can find more information and details on how you can register with Britdaq to be able to use its services at www.britdaq.com, or you can contact Britdaq directly for more information by email at info@britdaq.com

To trade via Britdaq, your shares will need to be in certificated (i.e. paper) form. You can contact your broker to help arrange this if they are currently held electronically (i.e. in CREST).

At the extraordinary general meeting of the Company held this morning all resolutions were passed which included approval of the sub-division of the Company's ordinary shares. Accordingly, each ordinary share of one pence will be sub-divided into 50 ordinary shares of 0.02 pence each. It is anticipated that the greater number of shares, each having a smaller nominal value, will result in a reduced price at which each share is traded that is consistent with the sub-division. The last trade in ordinary shares was recorded on 26th August, i.e. before the sub-division, at a price of £10 per share.

The £6.00 sell price was before it got converted 50 to 1 split. Now works out to be 12p per share but have 50 x more shares. Not sure how that works out with the shorters.

Tbm....I am new to this board after watching it for some time.
I just wanted to say that i have made lots of money trading gate shares and i am now awaiting the sell of my 4 thousand shares which today (28/08/15) has been converted 50 to 1.
I have set a £6.00 sell limit which i am still awaiting my broker (hargreaves lansdown) to send Capita my details.Capita have most of my details.
Once i have sold them,i will let you know. Not sure if it will be easy to sell them.

I understand from a poster on another thread has contacted the above and no trades have gone through at £6.00.

At some stage the shorters will be required to close by the counter party.

£6.00 might well turn out to be a very cheap price based on the share price growth 10P to £6.00 in the last 6 months.!!

At that rate of growth your talking about £354 a share.( for the full year.)

Well you understand very wrong!!

give these a ring on 020 3170 0234 and try and sell your Gate venture shares, then come back and post on here what the response was.

hxxp://www.capitadeal.com/services/matched-bargain-service.aspx

The six pounds is the last price on plus and there has been NO TRADES AT ALL IN GATE VENTURES on their matched bargain system as they have no buyers at all.

STIG

You posted this off just short of a year ago.

I think (but am not 100% on this) they took notes and passed the research onto their mates.

(The FCA boys themselves are not allowed to trade shares.)

Anyway, the upshot is, a massive gain over the last year, (I think it comes 2nd to GATE ) of 14 times my researched price of 1.165P. (20P today)

I dear say one or two investors are more than happy with that.!!

Of note is WINNIE and his shorting gang got this stock 100% wrong as well.!!! (TERN PLC)

One other point it looks as if STIG may have links with the above (as pointed out in the past)

Thanks again for highlighting my research which yet again has proved to be spot on.!!

No : the only place to get stock is going to be from the company itself .

On the trading page they even go out of the way to state the last price of £6.00.

They,GATE VENTURES PLC (like me) know fair well, they hold each and every card. !!

Each and every day this looks more and more as if WINNIE , THE FAT MAN, and the SHORTING GANG have gone head long into the CHINESE COOKING POT. !!!

Odd change of tack in the last hour.

Even odder is the fact that the stock you require is NOT on the matched bargain platform today. !!

Any sellers no doubt would have posted up weeks ago.

Now call me a fool but if you go fishing for stock in the Far East and they see an Englishman on the river bank expect to pay ten times the price.!

TBM,

At the risk of stressing the obvious, had the short closed, he would cease to be short. Shorts are always "yet to close".

I have been on to the matched bargain service operated by Capita this morning and, no doubt, I will get an offer of stock from Hong Kong.

Busted,

You may well be right on that. !!!

Thus those loons who shorted the stock will now have to close the shares through the company on a matched bargain basis.

@£6.00 (plus profit) each shorted share is going to cost around 30 times to buy it back in. !!!!

TBM,

I still so think.

What is interesting is that, possibly through my own incompetence, I cannot find the return at Companies House showing the details of capital paid up.

This is consistent with the idea that the capital was never paid up.
