The reason the current price is around $1.65 is because the sale isn't due to complete until Q4 2024, i.e. shareholders will have to wait one year before any money is received! Unless another bidder comes in, probably very unlikely, and barring any catastrophic event, GAN's shareprice will just bob along until completion.

A very disappointing outcome, in particular since you could have sold GAN in August above $2, i.e. whilst the strategic review was ongoing. A leason for all not to become too attached to any share and trust the bullsh*t spewed by the management!

Sega could have done that already at a much lower price.

Be interesting to see what the ex-Coolbet owner makes of this, still holding GAN stock. Posts on Stocktwits occasionally, I wonder what he has to say.

Ultimately, should have sold at circa $30 obviously - thought this was going to set us up for life and got a wee bit greedy.

ABSOLUTE DISASTER!
as far as I'm concerned. I bought a few of these quite a while ago and need about 1000% just to break even so 95% today means nothing to me. It was a gamble, excuse the pun. What a stupid boy am I.
Onwards and upwards (hopefully) from here & lesson learnt...

Who would have thought that I would be glad to get $2 a share!!!

'Interesting' to see the trades being posted, while the US markets are closed, are going through at $1.75.

Is the perception that the price being offered of $1.97 might be rejected, or simply take any cash while you can get it rather than wait till March 2024?

The company was recommended for a conditional 2-year gaming license in the state of Nevada, despite a recent change in management. Full approval on Oct. 19th would give GAN the go-ahead to replace the current sports betting platform at Red Rock Resorts. Ryan Sigdahl says that this is a positive for the B2B business, given it has had significant delays in launch, and should help the company structure itself better for a sale.
In addition the CEO was in Japan three weeks ago talking with Sega, and is still in discussions.

Apparently GAN have been recommended for a Nevada gaming licence only needs approval later this month. Should be a formality.

Sega Sammy have demanded his departure? Dermot realises the writing is on the wall, and his departure is a cynical move to increase his share holding value? McGill knows what he is doing and begins a slow but sure turnaround of GAN?
