Interesting .Sega Sammy have apparently loaned GAN enough to pay off their existing loan plus an extra 12 million ,and all at a more favourable rate.
Sega Sammy have interests/ owns resorts/casinos in Macau, japan and south kores.
On the back of that news there was a big rise in volume with 1 million shares bought in a single deal.

It looks like they amended and extended their credit facility yesterday removing the possibility (albeit unlikely) they would go bust.

Coolbet 2020: 84k active customers. Price: $176M
Coolbet 2023: 310k active customers. Price $54M including GAN Ltd...

It's dropped because it's quite clearly being wound up and sold off, to the betterment of dermot and the bod. Not us. It's over.

I wonder if the 9% drop today is due to lots of small UK investors crystallising a tax loss at the end of the tax year? Or because no one has any faith left in Dermot to turn things around!

What I missed from my post but the Stocktwits board brought to my attention was the potential issue with the banking covenants that was revealed in the results webchat. Not exactly reassuring, but might finally start Smurfit doing what he should have done ages ago, and start some aggressive cost cutting. I think he's got ahead of himself. Buying that design studio was over the top and setting up flash IT hubs in Miami....perhaps all good if you are making money but a drain if you are not.

Good post Molatov, the only thing, missing is that this company always fails to meet market expectations.

I should have heeded my concerns of several years ago when we fell from over $30 to below $10 while our CEO kept issuing the same positive statements, and if I had sold I would have come out ahead of breakeven.

Hindsight is a great thing!

So what to make of all this?

Well, revenue is up 20% on the same quarter last year and 13% on the previous quarter. Revenues are growing. So that is one positive.

Secondly if you strip out the non-cash impairment and depreciation costs, then I make a loss per share of 0.135 which is marginally better than the 0.14 forecasted. We beat earnings (sort of....) !!!!

Thirdly, GAN have £45m in cash. So no immediate cash issues.

Fourthly, B2B revenue is still growing and a big part of our overall revenues - so can they just walk away from this??

Overall, I don't think it is as bad as it first appears. The headline figures aren't great admittedly. The strategic review needs to start cutting costs in the 4 main areas below. Reduce those by 15-20% and we make money.

I don't think you can have more than four quarters in a year, so you are correct!

With just over two hours before the market closes we are now up 10%. Let's hope the results don't disappoint.

Shouldn't the results be the annuals? The septic financial year runs from January to December - in fact, I seem to remember GAN saying something about this when they first listed on the NASDAQ.

Sadly the days when we have been rewarded with good news from a trading statement have long gone. Maybe I am being too pessimistic but a share price fall from above $30 to a dollar fifty,is a decline of 95%, and even if you take the launch price on NASDAQ of around 8 dollars the decline is over 80%.

One word springs to mind, disastrous.
