On a lighter note, very positive news in the Michigan gaming numbers today. WYNNBET and twinspires are gaining market share fast. WYNNBET went from .04% of market share to now being the 6th largest icasino in the state. In total WYNNBET and twinspires combined more than doubled their revenues from the month prior.

Without doubt, I agree it's certainly not an oversight. My question is just what do they gain off not telling the investors. I understand the devaluing concept and I agree with the decision to not announce minor PR things like when they used to do PR to release NJ gaming numbers. Or when they add an assistsnt vice president of investor relations. These things have less impact on profitability than something like a major product launch.

Maybe they feel that if they do pr for every minor deal then they devalue the currency. For sure it's a considered decision and not an oversight. These guys are professionals whatever some of us may think.

Gan launched twinspires sportsbook in pennsylvania and indiana last night. Also launched twinspires casino in PA. Can someone who maybe knows more about stocks than myself explain what the thought behind not announcing these launches is? They all have a stake in this company. Don't they want to see the share price rise?

If it's any consolation, I have a couple of other NASDAQ stocks that have had similar falls over the past month, and take Penn National Gaming, a month ago it reached $140, now down at $87, a fall of 38%.

So, we are not alone in taking a beating.

Our new President of Investor Relations has got his work cut out to keep his investors happy. Since he joined on Apr 5th, he has overseen a fall in value of over 20%.

can anyone explain this volatility? Is it just something, that as U.K. investors, we are just going to have to get used to?
I get the impression it's a different type of market - in the U.K. we seem to have a lot more long term holders, whereas the Americans seem to dive in and out (the attention span of a gnat, as someone described it).
We have now got a price that has almost halved, and yet i don't see anything to have justified that sort of drop.
any (sensible) thoughts appreciated!

They still care. That is why they are in the position they are. Dermott is part of the dynasty but this is his baby and the family are also invested in him. He is pursuing his vision and I am sure he will take it to the end with eventual takeover. I follow the dream
