TIDMGAN RNS Number : 0183N GAN PLC 03 May 2018 LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE (LSE): GAN | IRISH STOCK EXCHANGE (ISE): GAME GAN launches a revolution in Social Casino gaming Innovative slot tournaments enhance Simulated Gaming performance London & Dublin | May 3, 2018: GAN plc ("GAN" or the "Company"), an award-winning developer and supplier of enterprise-level B2B Internet gaming software, services and online gaming content in the United States, has previously launched and today completed the first multi-stage online slot tournament offering prizes to qualifying patrons of Station Casinos enrolled in their Boarding Pass(R) rewards program and resident in the State of Nevada ("Players"). The innovative online experience has been reviewed and approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board and operates from GAN's hardware platform physically located in Las Vegas, Nevada. The LDT(TM) model will be delivered to selected clients of GAN's Simulated Gaming with casinos located in diverse States with compatible sweepstakes laws, throughout 2018. GAN's unique new LDT(TM) experience is an acronym for 'Leaderboard Draw Tournament' and represents a revolutionary new form of social casino gaming designed to deliver a free-to-enter online slot tournament experience where Players compete online for prizes subsequently collected on-property at the casino. The inaugural LDT(TM) launched online on April 23, 2018 and completed yesterday May 2, 2018 with a rolling LDT(TM) schedule ongoing throughout May. Highlights -- Enabling US casino patrons to play for free online to win prizes collected from their local casino -- Now available to Nevada residents enrolled in Station Casinos' Boarding Pass(R) reward program -- Approved by Nevada Gaming Control Board for operation online by Station Casinos and GAN -- Proven to drive significant increases in Simulated Gaming revenue among participating Players -- Increases relevance of Simulated Gaming to the 'traditional gamblers' frequenting US casinos -- Brings Players back on-property to the casino, increasing on-property visitation and retail gaming -- Reinforces GAN's Simulated Gaming proposition for casinos in 43x States with compatible laws Management Commentary Dermot Smurfit, CEO of GAN commented: "GAN has been trying to 'crack the code' of Internet gaming and social casino gaming for US casino operators since 2014. Our LDT's represent a significant legal innovation approved by both our client Station Casinos and the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Stations now has a unique experience online in Nevada designed to appeal to the 'core gambler' demographic already heavily engaged in playing social casinos." Alec Driscoll, Vice President of Product for GAN commented: "LDT's deliver what the patron really wants - to play slots online to win prizes - in a manner designed to ensure compliance with State and Federal regulation. The opportunity to bring LDT's to market was a key reason for joining GAN earlier this year as their potential in other US States delivered to other clients of Simulated Gaming represents a shift in the Industry to focus the casino patron experience directly back on property-related websites and not generic Social Casinos. This is a loyalty advantage for patrons, our clients and GAN." | mylands
03/5/2018 08:40 | This will IMO likely get taken out if the US opens up. Equally the consolidation is unlikely to stop on that side of the pond as indications are that the taxation is likely to be fairly heavy. Looking at the Penn / Pinnacle deal for example and the cross selling opportunities to their patrons for social gaming alone across their casino footprint will make the easy to implement tech that the likes of GAN and SG have of tremendous value. They aren't likely to take SG out obviously but snapping up an outfit like GAN for what would represent a very small figure to them even in the £50-£150m range might not be too wide of the mark and be good value.Completely speculative musing of course on my part, but they are in an interesting and changing space. | noujay
01/5/2018 16:18 | Brokers have targets of high 70s for Gan - I have been buying for a while now although average price still above current price (due to bad early buys). I think at last the US is opening and they are well placed | trentendboy
01/5/2018 10:38 | I came across this update from Davy's following GAN's recent results - EBITDA of £1.7m this year rising to £4m next year.....with potential for huge further upside on any changes in PASPA and other US gaming legislation: "GAN Updating forecasts post full year results; WinStar expected to drive revenue growth in 2018 and 2019 April 20 2018 DAVY VIEW Following GAN’s full year results, we update our forecasts for 2018 and beyond. The group is forecast to grow revenues materially in 2018 due to the roll-out of the WinStar Online Casino in Europe (a B2B client) and the full year effect of a number of other contract wins. We are forecasting 2018 revenues of £15m (H1/H2 split £5m/£10m | rivaldo
01/5/2018 10:02 | It will be interesting to see the impact of a dual US listing should that happen. If it is a possibility, and the company have indicted that it is, then surely now would be the time to do it considering the building enthusiasm for gaming stocks over there.Assuming (as do the broker in their note) that more money will be required for significant expansion then raising against a higher price in a more liquid situation would logical. | noujay

30/4/2018 11:24 | Rivaldo How right you are, a veritable tsunami of RNSs! | mylands
30/4/2018 09:33 | Mylands, I would say 5 RNS's in the last 21 days - 3 contracts, 1 encouraging trading statement and 1 digital marketing expansion - constitutes a tidal wave of news by almost any standards :o)) Good article someuwin, thanks. I've read elsewhere that a PASPA decision is due "any day", so we'd better keep our eyes peeled. | rivaldo
30/4/2018 09:07 | Over the past 26 years, if you had placed a bet on a baseball game in the US, the chances are you were doing so illegally. On the other end of the wager might be a sophisticated offshore operation based in the Caribbean or run by organised crime groups. Sports betting in the world’s largest economy has largely moved underground. The Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992 (PASPA) effectively outlawed sports betting nationwide, with the exception of a few states. The result was a thriving underground betting industry that accepts an estimated $150bn (£108bn) in illegal wagers every year, according to the American Gaming Association. However, the US is nearing a watershed moment. The supreme court is considering whether to repeal PASPA after a protracted legal challenge by the state of New Jersey – and the signs are that New Jersey will get its way. “This is the closest the US market has come to opening up,” says Kip Levin, the chief executive of the US business at the major British bookmaker Paddy Power Betfair. “The sports leagues and the casino industry are behind it, so all the winds are blowing in the right direction.” A decision is expected any time between now and the end of June, which could open up a vast business opportunity for those quick enough to seize it. With the prize on offer so great, Britain’s bookmakers are already jockeying for position. They have years of experience because of Europe’s more liberal approach to sports gambling, while sharing a common language reduces barriers to entry. | someuwin
30/4/2018 08:52 | It is all shaping up nicely, and you are right it does tell a positive story | noujay
30/4/2018 08:34 | Not sure I would describe GAN's news flow as a 'tidal wave' but another piece of good news with the expansion in to Mississippi. At some point the market will wake up to what is happening with GAN and the share price will match Liberum's target of 79p. The max I can buy at the moment is 1,000 but I can sell 50,000! Tells a story. | mylands
30/4/2018 08:33 | ...Great news! (Can currently get an online buy quote for £3k but not £4k) | someuwin
30/4/2018 07:12 | A tidal wave of news at present, with more today: "Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians selects GAN for Simulated Gaming Three MBCI owned casinos to offer Simulated Gaming in H2 2018 London & Dublin | April 30, 2018: GAN plc ("GAN" or the "Company"), a leading B2B supplier of Internet gaming enterprise software-as-a-servic The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians owns and operates Pearl River Resort whose portfolio of assets includes Silver Star Hotel & Casino, Golden Moon Hotel & Casino, Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, and Geyser Falls Water Theme Park located in Choctaw Mississippi. Pearl River Resort is the largest casino resort in the Mississippi gaming region and we anticipate their audience of patrons will engage heavily with Simulated Gaming." William A. Johnson III, Interim President & CEO commented: "We selected GAN for its proven success in helping casino properties to offer online gaming and for its capability to embed our on-property rewards program into an online experience. 25/4/2018 11:39 | Hargreaves Lansdown included the following in its news email a couple of days ago, but I can't find anything that confirms the court made a decision yesterday:- "There is a possibility that the U.S. Supreme Court releases new decisions on April 24 and then again on April 30, and so everyone interested in the highest court’s forthcoming decision concerning whether sports betting may be legalized state-by-state will be on pins and needles waiting in anticipation." | alan@bj
25/4/2018 11:21 | Nice momentum here now. With favourable PASPA legislation, GAN could well be one of the stocks of 2018 imo. For example, the recent Stars Group acquisition of SkyBet is perceived as a $4.7 billion bet on the repeal of PASPA and the federal ban on sports betting being lifted: | rivaldo
25/4/2018 09:34 | It looks to me like the new Gan Digital Agency will operate much like the XL Media (LSE:XLM) business model - which has been hugely successful for them. "Marketing services by GAN Digital are anticipated to commence in Q2 2018 focused on driving user acquisition and retention of real money Internet gaming customers in diverse regulated European markets." And with senior William Hill man in charge it should be very profitable additional revenue generator... "Operations at GAN Digital will be led by experienced senior digital marketing executive Mr. Meir Deutsch who joins GAN from William Hill Online and will serve as the Managing Director of GAN Digital." | someuwin
25/4/2018 09:34 | WTF! We signed a deal with the Golden Nugget or something? LOL! | molatovkid

25/4/2018 09:09 | Good time to be adding imo. | someuwin
25/4/2018 08:52 | Lack of liquidity works both ways. Looking better now. A least can get quotes to sell that aren't taking the mick. | phowdo
24/4/2018 18:45 | To be fair this one doesn't have enough liquidity to really reflect the broader market, up or down! | noujay
24/4/2018 18:40 | Moves keep coming even in a falling market | trentendboy |
