What would you think if someone borrowed some houses owned by you and your neighbours from the mortgagees and immediately sold them on the market ?. Sent out a circular saying there was a possibility of a motorway going through the area. With the glut of houses for sale, prices would crash and other owners would then get theirs on the market super quick to try and sell before the prices went even lower. What was once a respectable area is now a not so vibrant area. The ‘someone’ then buys the houses back at the lower prices and gives them back to the mortgagees. Job done and pocketed a good wedge and you still have your house - albeit a lot less in value. The ‘someone’ has pocketed a good sum but at yours and the other owners’ expense. Is this legal ??. No - of course it is not as this would be a ludicrous situation. It is however legal to do it with your stocks.
The AIM is less liquid than the main markets and is a breeding ground for this practice.

FYI - note that GAN already has a partnership with IGT:

"Rhode Island online wagering bill poised become law
13 March 2019

Mobile wagering in Rhode Island is awaiting approval from Governor Gina Raimondo to come into law, after the state’s House of Representatives passed a bill already approved by the Senate.

S37, introduced in January by Senate president Dominick Ruggerio and passed by the Senate in February, allows the Twin River casinos in Lincoln and Tiverton to launch online and mobile sports betting.

The casinos, currently the only places permitted to offer land-based betting in Rhode Island, must only offer the online services to customers that have registered for an account at the venue. They must also use geolocation technology to verify the players are betting within the state’s borders.

As with land-based wagering, 51% of sports betting revenue will be paid to the state, with a further 32% going to the authorised sports wagering vendor, and 17% going to the host facility. Land-based wagering in the state is powered by William Hill and International Game Technology (IGT), which paired up to secure the contract in August 2018.

The state legalised land-based wagering in June 2018, and launched betting at the Twin River casinos on November 26. For the first full month of legal wagering, in January 2019, revenue amounted to $957,900 (£729,150/S64;847,810), from handle of $13m."

There is one problem being ahead of the crowd - you have to wait for them to catch up.

But when they do, by god, woooshhhh!!!

Probably won't be enough for a breakout given the relative size but who knows! Michigan would certainly do the trick though and that's moving along

Good news and very good that we are back at 50p.

Let's hope this give the stock a solid re-rating after the drift downward over the past few months

Very useful $990k cost save which offsets the delays in Penn going live, reiterates guidance, reiterates no funding required and numerous catalysts to come including results in a couple of weeks which will hopefully include a patent update. Exciting times and IMO nothing to hold this share back now.

Excellent news this morning. The $900k saving in the Penn licensing fee is particularly impressive. And nice to see the reiterated trading guidance:

"Based on current strong trading conditions experienced year to date and lower Pennsylvanian licensing costs, the Company remains confident in the CY2019 full year guidance provided on January 25, 2019.

The Company expects mid-to-high double-digit percentage year on year revenue growth in FY 2019 and full year positive EBITDA1, based on the current fixed cost base. The Board does not anticipate any additional capital requirement on the current business plan and the Company is therefore fully funded."

Combined with the SCSW article and recommendation, the next few days should be rather pleasant.

Between the Penn licensing fee saving the company $900k and the office relocation saving £700k this year their cash position looks to be very good. Not to mention their momentum. Perhaps it will start to move upwards now.
