S Gaming info via LinkedIn thats a wrap video entering a host of regulated markets via their partnership with Gaming realms. Also a piece on slingo popularity to while away a couple of minutes The Rise of Slingo: Insights from Ville Saari Merry Christmas |
I wouldn't be chasing this up yet on no news. Still no sign of the divestment bot lessening the selling. |
I thought the interview was behind an expensive paywall when I first clicked on the link and the interview referred to above wasn't obvious at first so posting the following from it: -
"Affpapa recently interviewed Ville Saari, Bojoko’s Lead Content Manager, to understand what’s driving Slingo’s extraordinary rise in popularity and how the industry should respond.
Yeva: Slingo has grown massively in popularity. What’s behind the surge of interest?
Slingo has this perfect combination of familiarity and novelty. It takes two games players already know and love—slots and bingo—and blends them into something fresh and engaging. The gameplay is simple enough to attract casual players, but it also offers layers of strategy and decision-making that keep things interesting for more experienced players.
Slingo comes in so many themed versions, from classic formats to tie-ins with TV shows or popular slots, so there’s something for everyone. This variety keeps players coming back, as they’re always curious to see what’s next.
Yeva: To what extent is Slingo reshaping the gaming landscape?
It’s definitely making waves and fits into a trend where games that are not part of the traditional casino offering are breaking through. We’ve seen this with Crash Games, which were first popular at crypto casinos but have now expanded to safe UKGC-licensed casinos as well, and we’ve seen it with Plinko.
The number of categories that matter to British casino players is expanding, and of these new categories, or genres, if you will, Slingo is at the top. This has an impact on how casinos present their game lobbies, as you need to have a Slingo category, full stop, but it also influences acquisitions.
Yeva: Do you have any insight into the degree to which Slingo influences acquisitions?
Based on our data, the number of Brits looking for casinos with great Slingo selections is in the thousands—approximately 5,000 or so per month. These are players looking to sign up and play Slingo, possibly with you.
For affiliates like us, that means ensuring that we have a page dedicated to helping players find Slingo casino sites, assessing which are the best, and making sure our information is up to date. There are many popular games, and we have similar pages for all of them. It takes resources, though it is very much worth it. The same goes for the casinos that adapt to the Slingo trend and get listed on pages like ours.
I think operators who do not jump on the trend stand at risk of becoming less relevant to quite a few of their existing players while also losing new FTDs. However, this is mostly an opportunity, as Slingo is building excitement and interest." |
Good interview with global igaming lead media content provider on the ongoing popularity of slingohttps://affpapa.com/the-rise-of-slingo-insights-from-casino-expert-ville-saari/ |
still not cracked tat 40p ceiling |
Not small cap related, exiting all gambling holdings so more likely policy related. |
Almost all the small buys at the top of the spread are exits. I can sit there all day being bypassed. |
Mng and others exiting small cap market |
MNG getting out and same with the last pension fund to buy in. Usually the divestment bot is quite disciplined but maybe they need to get out by the end of the year. |
There must be someone dumping this share it seems to have gone nowhere for months |
True mylands but I don't mind buying a drop as this is a nice little growing cash cow, who doesn't ask the Shareholders for a handout every year and pump and dump like clockwork on inflated ramping. |
As I've said before, no news from a small cap company is not good for the SP, as we are seeing now. |
Divestment bot running. It is good it keeps ticking the price up but it is going to dump into any demand. I think funds getting out is on investment policy changes rather then economic fundamentals. |
Slingo Santa released today. Tacky as ever, so it could be a seasonal hit. |
Ontario record igaming revenue recently reported, growing 30 percent yoy. Can't find the link again, you'll have to take my word for it.Roll on the BC approval with that massive Chinese gambling market itching to throw money at all things slingo. |
Slingo pop livehttps://www.linkedin.com/posts/gaming-realms_pop-it-like-its-hot-our-latest-game-slingo-activity-7267853709710082048-xCRt?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_iosBut much more importantly igaming record revenue in Michigan and Pennsylvania set in October. |
Decent rise after a not unusual batch of 100k sell offs. One day they might be finished...The tax/levy plan was released today & will have minimal impact on all players esp smaller ones to fund problem gambling issuesNice win for RR at Cheltenham, see he has sold a horse & a company in last week wonder if any more to come!? |
Actually disregard, the planned levy looks pretty mild overall. |
They indicated an intention to increase the tax though. I expect that info to be released without warning as well. |
Well the industry news today is good news in my opinion. The online slot limits have been well flagged up and good to see they have not been reduced by this unpredictable budget. |
It's all about momentum for most company share movements, unfortunately updates are very sporadic and as you say the company needs to update any relevant news and unfortunately it fails to do so hence the reason why the share price becomes stagnant. |
'How can this stay sub 40p?' Simple really, just a lack of positive news. Two months since the half year numbers, since then nothing else.
It's a minnow. These companies need a steady flow of news to move the share price up, or else the few punters who follow them move on to other fish to catch. |
Yes how can this stay sub 40p. Crazy times. |
Hopefully get back in the 40 s now |
