Nice one FG, may have some more myself. Was hoping that the last raise was done on the back of news but price has largely recovered although I believe we should have been given the chance also to invest at 0.4. With December almost upon us, Jubilee will be wanting these tailings soon in H1 so the deal surely needs to be struck very soon

That's some confidence Fatgreek, well done.
Hopefully, mining licence soon, & we can start progressing towards revenues next year at their flagship, Star.
And hearing further news on their other projects

When the deal is announced, it should re-state the sorts of figures colin was talking about previously so you would think your 1.5p would immediately achieved. Didn't he suggest $14-$15M with around $2M of costs. We should be moving up now in advance of that deal. I am selling some stuff and was thinking of increasing my stake in jubilee but I think this has the better short term lift off potential

I was thinking at least 1.5p by Xmas assuming we get permission to mine. Could be a few weeks later.

Picked up a million shares on opening. I like the miniscule mkt cpt to assets.
Hopeful of positive news in the not too distant future( mining license) & further news re developing the projects & related contracts

Admittedly, nothing in the LSE post is particularly outlandish, and could well be authentic.

Agreed, the original post is from someone on LSE. But yes could just be as reliable as Chinese whispers

I tend to view Twitter for the dog mess that it is, but I suppose it's plausible. I mean application itself would not be worthy of an RNS.

Some scuttlebut from an investor who apparently met Colin at a recent proactive presentation:

I can't dispute anything you have said, other than perhaps a tad sooner than six months for the agreement?

considering the low mkt cap and cap ex required i am surprised this is even listed, however, i think it is fair to say that the star project is merely a small scale 5 or 10 tear cash cow, to provide revenue to fund the other zinc prospect, and eventually to mine, but that looks like several years away.

even so, the mkt cap of these should be £15m or £20m once ore extraction becomes a reality, because some decent cash will be generated, and that means no placings, and it means we can fund drilling and exploration wherever we want.

first base for me is in six months when we have a signed agreement and we start digging for real, and perhaps a five fold mkt cap increase.

Lol sorry for the glib reply, excellance. I suppose it's very much just a waiting game now. The project seems solid, the offtake agreement is a case of Colin agreeing with Colin to do a deal, low capex and a low mcap to get in on the action. I've been accumulating for a long while now, if I get a chance I will probably top up a little more before EOY but only a few k at best.

excellance agree, capex should be very low, I think Colin Bird said they also might need a portcabin on site in one of the podcasts :)

tim000 has also suggested to the directors that they consider getting an external contractor in to do the excavation etc:

they raised £500k only a few months ago, for low cost open pit mining at star high grade zinc deposit, to be processed by a third party, so not much cash needed to get a couple of excavators and a tipper trucks, and once thats paid for the money should self finance the other developments near by like drilling ect.

i understand the deal with the sable smelter owned by jubilee platinum is all agreed.

just a matter of time now i think?

can someone correct me if i got any of that wrong.

excellance, any thoughts on funding required to move to production. A bit more required maybe as it gets closer?
