I understood the problem with Jubilee re zinc processing was that building the zinc plant had been put on hold due to equipment delivery delays due to COVID?

what is clear to me is that this company is asset rich but cash poor, and is still a loss maker. They have acquired prospective exploration licenses for copper in Botswana very cheaply but with no guarantee that there's anything in them of value until they are drilled.

Galileo are surely a zinc play, and we are still awaiting news relating to mining licenses for zinc for processing at Jubilee's sable processing plant, and if that goes ahead then maybe there is a route to actually earn some cash!

The recent share price increase is very suspicious in my opinion, and reeks of pump and dump, cos there's still no value adding news to get excited about.

Copper exploration in Botswana will require cash, and lots of it, so expect a placing to that end...

The zinc project will also require a little cash, not a lot, just enough for some diggers and to pay some wages, operating costs need to be covered, then with luck some revenue will be generated, enough to cover expansion to the other zinc sites locally.

Galileo is a very high risk investment, so unless you're a gambler and love the ups and downs that gamblers love then beware...who knows, maybe it'll all work out swimmingly?

Excellence, I would say that demand is set to increase while supply goes down. I imagine the price will go up, but it's not an immediate likelihood.

Fillipe, that's a fair comment and I suspect you will be shown to be correct to some degree. Medium term looks like a great hold but there is a lot of impatience on AIM.

But you saw how this quickly moved up. You are never going to the timing right on this one, I added yesterday and it's down since, but if they sell the rare earth holding or announce the mining license, this will rocket upwards. Happy to be in and holding for much greater times

It's done very well indeed from around 0.40p and May 11th hit 1.144p.

I've not been over-impressed with the recent news and get the same feelings from others, all of which leads me to think of a possible future weakness in the share price

Nothing at all drastic, but some will not want to see a good profit just slowly drift away if there is a bit of further slackness in the bid/ask.

ha, thought Colin would put a stop to the rise in SP, weakness now until the 28th - he's now told us what he's bought, let's see how quickly he can tell us how he's going to develop it. On the face of it, it looks like a good deal but all 'highly prospective' ie risky.

Yup - good things happening here.

"Galileo Resources plc ("Galileo "or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of 100% of Botswana- incorporated Crocus-Serv (Pty) Ltd ("Crocus") (the "Acquisition"), having satisfied the Conditions Precedent in terms of the Heads of Agreement ("HoA") (as announced 7 May 2020 -RNS number 3266M). Crocus's assets include 21 exploration prospecting licences (PLs) of which 19 are in the highly prospective Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) and 2 are in the Limpopo Mobile Belt (LMB) in the western and north eastern Botswana respectively. The PLs cover a total 14,875 square kilometres"

He said that there were other processors around who could do it and that maybe would even offer slightly better rates but that he felt it unlikely that JLP would walk away.
