Just listen to this interview with Leon Coetzer from about 31 minutes in if you need convincing about Luansobe Bradshaw: Can’t be long before a deal is announced there.

Bradshaw, what is undeniable if that CB has an unrivalled network of contacts in sub Saharan Africa and the respect that goes with making a discovery like Sentinel. That opens a lot of doors for him and he has form for digging out projects where there is often a wealth of historic drilling information which derisks further exploration activity. Obviously that is cash constrained but doing deals like Glenover and Sandfire has enabled him to extend the portfolio and secure other assets which are gradually maturing.

There are now some real jewels in the portfolio and you’d have to be barking mad not to have a stake in this company at the current market cap imho.

$260 million is not chicken feed Bradshaw and many many times the market cap of virtually any explorer listed on the AIM market.

To prove up a Tier 1 would probably have meant a whole lot of dilution to shareholders so this is the way to go for junior explorers. As CB states in the deal RNS:”Commenting on the transaction, Mr. Colin Bird, Chairman of Kiwara said, "In the evolution of a major mining project, management is constantly faced with matching progress with overall resource capacity. Kiwara has recognized that the Kalumbila project and indeed the licence area in general, has potential well in excess of our current resource capability.” and that is why he is focused on a low cost open pit operation at Luansobe and is letting Sandfire pick up the tab for the bulk of exploration in Botswana, retaining a few licenses which can piggy back on any discoveries made by the latter.

Plenty of upside potential from a host of other projects too, as listed in the header.

Bro all I'm saying is, whatever way you want to cook it, spin it, put lipstick on it......he sold a multi billion dollar deposit essentially for chicken feed! Listen I wasn't in the game at the time but imagine he'd held on to it a bit longer, whacked a few more drills into that bad boy, it's not deep as its a sediment hosted deposit....then he could have potentially got a lot more, maybe could have created a bidding war.....or even built the mine himself (lol) and he could potentially be where First Quantum are now thanks to Sentinel ie a 25 odd billion dollar market cap company ROFLMFAO just an opinion

Bradshaw you complete numpty, it was not a Tier 1 asset at the time it was sold and a lot more cash would have been needed to get it there so it was a bloody good return for shareholders.

In time I expect the assets in the KCB to go the same way as Sentinel. Then there’s Luansobe and the Lithium at Kamatavi as prime targets for an approach by a bigger fish, together with a host of other assets which are at earlier stages. Selling Glenover and the deal with Sandfire has helped fund all this.

Apart from offloading Sentinel to First Quantum for chicken feed, when it was worth much more (imho) what else has he done?

Colin Bird is to the African exploration and mining sector what the great Algy Cluff was to oil exploration, and he has more knowledge and connections in the tip of his little finger than an illiterate yob like you will have in a lifetime.

I’ll be holding this stock until he hangs up his boots after realising the immense value that GLR holds in its assets. Come back here in a year’s time and you will just look on with envy as the end game begins to play out.

Well what a great interview that was: and very good to hear CB confirming that not only is there a good amount of cash in the bank but the stock GLR holds in Afrimat and Sandfire Resources is currently worth over £3m. Luansobe open pit will also be undertaken with project based funding.

Listen to the whole of the interview and anyone without an agenda will appreciate how massively undervalued GLR currently is.

And don’t forget the stock they own in Sandfire Resources and Afrimat, which must be worth over £3 million.
