26/3/2003 18:50 | Agree that it's a gamble waiting till Friday but am prepared to do this on the hunch (and it's only a hunch) that at least £.0125 is a distinct chance. Certainly not happy with the management: - have they lost speech faculties? | he who does venture
26/3/2003 17:44 | Just to cheer us up.(from GAI prospectus) On 28 January 2002, each of Martin Varley, Mark Warburton and Robert Long entered into a service agreement with the Company. Each service agreement is terminable on not less than 12 months notice given by either party to the other at any time and contains provisions for earlier termination, inter alia, in the event of a breach by the Director in question. The basic and all the salary payable to these Directors is £150,000, £130,000 and £120,000 respectively per annum to be reviewed annually (without any obligation to increase the same). In addition, the Company pays each Director an annual car allowance of £10,000 and provides the Director with a pension contribution of 10 per cent. of his annual salary and private health insurance. At least someone's getting something out of this co. | jubjee
26/3/2003 17:22 | What was the daft amount of money paid to cyprotex for accounting fees anybody please. | canihackit
26/3/2003 17:05 | to sreddy took the off change he might slip up and say something of use but he did not hope you are ready to hit the exit button with your holding? because you can bet they will release the news over the weekend so that will leave the shareholders with no where to go? to be frank all the signs are they are going bust? but lets hope that i am wrong...... did you say the other day you had over 3% now ? | kennethrich
26/3/2003 16:23 | Have to just wait. No, have not written off investment. At least should be worth 1.25p. However, if they were in desperate straights and have no alternative, why have they not agreed and accepted the offer yet? The accounts should make things clearer and show whether they need to do a deal or it is just opportunist. On the other hand they have not dismissed the offer out of hand. Awaiting news. | sreddy
26/3/2003 16:06 | So Sreddy whats your take Have you written your investment off? Would be very interested in your comments | tom2468
26/3/2003 15:43 | KENNETHRICH, For someone who is supposedly very experienced in the workings of the City and listed companies, I am surprised that you even bothered to speak to MW. What did you expect him to say? | sreddy
26/3/2003 15:26 | Bold investors know that during these jittery times there are many buying opportunities out there. But which ones to pick is the question...I have found that this newsletter is just what you're looking for! Check it out here..... | chesterz
26/3/2003 15:19 | KENNETHRICH refer TOm2468 post 1506 re MW? Problem is these guys are running a company the success of which is a dependant to shareholder / city confidence i.e floating new co.s. Yet after GAI who would touch any of the floated co.s? not long to go now either way, Good luck. | jubjee
26/3/2003 15:05 | I wouldnt be panicking just yet reason : no one is selling | tom2468
26/3/2003 15:04 | I'm so close to zero now anyway that I'm happy to take the gamble. But I would never buy any shares in any other company that the plumber is involved with. He's joined Stephen Dean on my blacklist. | grebo

26/3/2003 10:17 | monday 31/03/03 is shortly - too late, but shortly nonetheless. | knopfler
26/3/2003 10:10 | Ive had a response from Mark Warburton saying an announcement is to be made very shortly as they are still in discussion with brokers and advisers | tom2468
26/3/2003 08:14 | ... although you could base your decision on the lack of information of course | knopfler
26/3/2003 08:13 | what if the offer is pulled due to 'due diligence' and gai reinstate at 0.03p bid. it's a outright gamble this one - no infomation on which to base a decision either way. good luck to everyone. | knopfler
26/3/2003 07:44 | what is the point of bailing? If they get suspended then they will only be reinstated saying they have accepted the offer of 1.25p so you will lose alot moe if you bail imo | tom2468
