28/3/2003 09:52 | peel hunt are the only ones making money on these. another emm diclosure, but no results. | knopfler
28/3/2003 09:47 | They could, but they'd have to have cast iron balls to do it ! | grebo
28/3/2003 09:45 | need to have been a verrrrry brave daytrader moneypit23 | doodle1
28/3/2003 09:39 | I suppose someone could have made a few quid this morning on a day trade. | moneypit23
28/3/2003 09:20 | I have to agree with you gentlemen. This has turned out to be a very bad investment and an expensive lesson learned. | moneypit23
28/3/2003 08:50 | it would be interesting to see if they are suspended today, as the point of suspending a share that is in trouble is to prevent people from buying them. these mm appear to be encouraging people to buy. if i trusted the management i would buy, shame i don't. if this is an opportunity i'll just have to miss it. | knopfler
28/3/2003 08:43 | there is no buying at this fantastic giveaway price. is that because no-one trust the management? i think the liquidators are moving in as they write their rns. | knopfler
28/3/2003 08:42 | sometimes mms do trip up i had this co listed as a cash shell can any 1 update as to the situatiion there thanx | dude luv
28/3/2003 08:41 | They're offering them at 0.68p at the moment. I tested the waters and tried to buy enough to average down to 1.25p from 2.22p at the moment. I could easily have bought 1 million shares (but I don't have that much bottle). | moneypit23
28/3/2003 08:40 | I think they've proven their generosity time and again. Perhaps giving other peoples money to ventures in which you are involved is a new form of generosity! | judgement
28/3/2003 08:38 | knopfler as you say by now sell at offer for 66% gain!!!! I dont think so...does not bode well imo | doodle1
28/3/2003 08:35 | has the bid fallen through? and liquidation on the way? or are thy management being generous and allowing us to buy share today @ 0.75p to sell later for 1.25p. | knopfler
28/3/2003 08:18 | Another 100,000 sold at 0.25p - surely at that price it's got to be worth a gamble on the 1.25p offer succeeding | grebo
28/3/2003 08:16 | jgray, If you order was to sell "at best" then I'm afraid you've got no comeback whatsoever. With illiquid stocks like this it's always a good idea to set a limit for a buy or sell, especially if you're not dealing with them on the phone so they can't warn you if they can't deal at bid/offer price. | grebo
28/3/2003 00:35 | No, I haven't. Still average 2.75p. Still hopeful things are not as bad as they seem. | sreddy
28/3/2003 00:30 | sreddy - have you been buying at all on the dips? Just wondering what you are averaging at now? | moneypit23
28/3/2003 00:27 | Gosh, somebody just dumped 86k-ish at 0.25p! I'd rather wait for better news and run the risk that they go broke, which would stlll surprise me immensely. | sreddy
28/3/2003 00:10 | Until news we are all in the dark. Even if Galileo fails we are still entitled to warrants over the unlisted co's. Sensonic, fluid cond systems etc are not going bust - they have cash backed overdrafts. Bought a few more on the cheap this morning. Fortune favours the brave. | cubes101
28/3/2003 00:02 | Not passing judgement TOM2468 - just stating fact. | moneypit23
27/3/2003 20:00 | sorry, misunderstood. good luck trying to sort it out. | knopfler
27/3/2003 17:13 | >> jgray The bid dropped to .25 this am,hence the reason your order was processed. Bad luck and an expensive appointment imho. | ginto
27/3/2003 17:01 | It wasn't an AT trade. I made the decision to sell but had an appointment so had to go out. Left the sell order with my broker and I've done this before without any problems. This one sticks out like a sore thumb so I'm asking them to quantify it. | jgray
27/3/2003 16:01 | jgray what do you think you can do about it? you effectivly set the price you are willing to sell at, the mm job is to make a market so the price had to fall to your level in order for business to be done. i remember this happening on sgc before it shot up 45%, the price dropped suddenly to trigger automatic stop losses, a few got caught out and missed the rise. i have never used an automatic buy or sell order and never will, it takes all your control away. i'm still sorry that it has happened though. | knopfler |
