23/9/2016 14:43 | Online quotes have just changed markedly (100k offered at 9.9, and only 25k bid at 9.2) despite the tick up in the bid. I suspect a delayed sizeable sell is about to appear to cause this change. Nobby | nobbygnome
23/9/2016 14:29 | Last additional tranche just bought for me for a while. Let's see if the price moves up again before the end of the week. GLA | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 13:48 | Sorry *more | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 13:48 | Yeah Roland Phelps has a lord than substantial holding and doesn't seem to have problems tapping in to institutional investors. Fingers crossed for a debt plus equity finance deal. | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 12:39 | Exactly c_n_s Google "skin in the game" Nassim Taleb. | panagos
23/9/2016 12:38 | Can't hold her captain she's gonna blow!! aaah missed saying that.. :) | panagos
23/9/2016 10:48 | Yes it makes life interesting but I hear you and am here for the long term. I'm well aware of the history here previously being invested before things got really bad. I really hope this company finally starts to repay the long term holders. Forgot to mention how many shares the BoD hold! They certainly have a large enough incentive to see this company fulfill its potential. | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 10:45 | PS Are you agreeing that the 30p target TA is suggesting is correct 👍? Have I finally converted you....LOL | nobbygnome
23/9/2016 10:42 | >> TC Because it keeps me amused as you know 😜! I will hold the majority for a much bigger return but I have done rather well trading GAL over the last 8 or 9 months! Nobby | nobbygnome
23/9/2016 10:36 | --->CAST_NO_SHADO ....and you guys talk of selling out after the court case to take a wee turn? Why not stick with it for the duration and see 30p+ rather than try to get every twist and turn of the ride up to 30p correct to make a lot less? Once the court is out of the way, they just need to get the finances for the underground mine in place and then production should be able to commence shortly after that. I expect much of the financing work is already almost in place pending the court case. In any case, the amount we will need to raise is already less than it was a year or 2 ago so hopefully less dilution than expected. I had once expected that they may raise money at the 2p to 3p range and dilute most of us older shareholders almost into oblivion, but now there does seem to be brighter light at the end of that long dark tunnel. Might actually walk away with even more than a decent profit after a few years of suffering. Fingers crossed it goes well now. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count
23/9/2016 10:29 | Wow 10p trade went through :-) | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 10:27 | Nobby the Economic study was based on £750 gold with a LOM of what, 6 years from memory. Well we know the reserves are potentially many multiples larger than that and gold is currently near all time highs in sterling at around £1,000/oz and back in a bull market. They even have licences in the republic! I wonder how long it would take them to re-commence mining? They have all the infrastructure already in place which makes it a even more compelling investment. The grades are wonderful and their assumption of around 20k oz a year is also conservative IMO. You talk about bowling formations and 30 pence. Yes fundamentally and technically this is an extremely exciting proposition. The fact that it's based in a stable country is the icing on the cake. Unfortunately the downside of that is the red tape but fingers crossed we're finally at the end of that road. | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 10:01 | I think failure at this stage just means a further delay and would not be terminal IMHO. The MMs still will not sell you any even at 10p; I can't get a quote for even 5k on line. That shows they are caught and short and although, they will always play games, I am not sure there would be a post news sell off. Fundamentally the company is undervalued assuming the underground mine ultimately goes ahead. Oh and the chart looks superb both short and medium to long term. I think around 11p is imminent and 30p within a year is highly likely. Just look at the long term bowl forming on the five year chart.... Nobby | nobbygnome
23/9/2016 09:52 | Yeah I'll hopefully buy some more and then trade 50% and hold the rest as my holding won't be large. With this kind of news it's quite often a buy the rumour sell the news type event that could see a sizeable drop after an initial rise on the news. However this share is so illiquid I'm not sure the approval is priced in? What do you think? Fingers crossed they get it as I'm not sure where the company could go if they didn't. Their purchases of underground equipment recently tells me all I need to know however. | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 09:34 | The MMs are bidding up for 100k at 9.08p plus 25k at 9.1 so they are keen to get stock and won't sell you any. As always I am both a trader and a long term holder. I will hold most for the med to long term but trade around the edges. Nobby | nobbygnome
23/9/2016 09:31 | Nobby are you planning to buy and hold or trade some after the hearing? | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 09:29 | I finally bought in, 22000 shares. Had to pay top dollar at 9.49p. Hopefully that'll be cheap this time next week :) If the spread improves I'll buy some more before Thursday. | cast_no_shadow
23/9/2016 09:23 | Just managed to get 15k but 20k was not available on line. If you want to buy a few before the hearing next week, I wouldn't hang around. Nobby | nobbygnome
22/9/2016 21:42 | The hearing is next week but it maybe the decision is or isn't immediate - no idea. | bageo
22/9/2016 14:18 | Next Thursday😜 | nobbygnome
22/9/2016 13:57 | news soon? | panagos
22/9/2016 13:35 | I can't even get a quite for 5000 shares! What is going on?? | cast_no_shadow
22/9/2016 12:50 | The MMs have completely killed any trade. I can't even get an online quote for 10k shares. This really is not how a free market is supposed to work. You have to suspect they are 'caught and short' and hence don't want to move the price up. Nobby | nobbygnome
22/9/2016 10:16 | My thoughts exactly although slightly frustrating as I won't be buying in till probably tomorrow so hope it doesn't move up any more. This one is completely off the PI's radar so I'm expecting a nice 20% rise following confirmation of mine approval. Financing news should then be out before Xmas and things really start to get interesting! | cast_no_shadow
22/9/2016 10:03 | Interesting rise this morning on 10k traded. There are no shares on offer and they are bidding up for lots of stock. Plus the chart looks primed for the next leg up into double figures. So I don't think it will take much buying to get the price going! A week today at the latest we should get the result of the judicial review. Exciting times..... Nobby | nobbygnome |
