24/4/2017 15:48 | Aaaah willi, you might not believe it but for once I tend to agree with you!! | panagos
24/4/2017 15:39 | Panagos re2993 this is the headline in a another paper. Britons RUSHING to become Irish nationals 'because they feel MORE European than British' Haha | willib2
24/4/2017 15:27 | Panagos that is not very nice language, but you will keep following those two. | willib2
24/4/2017 15:05 | DD : they said they would pay - but reserved their right to ask a court to rule on the legality of them having to pay when others don't have to. | mineng
24/4/2017 14:51 | it would perhaps be funny if it weren't so completely off the wall!!! : ) The PSNI, basically the state, acts in such a manner that jobs and investments are put at risk....really clever stuff especially at a time when money is being thrown out the window with the "barn heating project".......or maybe ( if you were cynical....that is why the PSNI are trying to raise revenue.... : ) | thecynical1
24/4/2017 14:44 | Is the NI Police angle that they are not funded or staffed to supply this service, so Galantas have to fork out - rather like Football Clubs have to pay for Police presence on match days? If so, I could understand this. | doobydave
24/4/2017 12:30 | I suspect there is a lot more to this than meets the eye. Very odd idea that the PSNI should go down this route given the consequences not just for the workforce at Galantas but also at other similar busonesses....what kind of message does that send out........???? hairbrained at best.....grossly irresponsible at worst. Just my opinion. | thecynical1
24/4/2017 10:57 | Yes right, apologies! | panagos
24/4/2017 10:55 | em.....Northern Irish......get it right, man!!!!!! | thecynical1
24/4/2017 07:33 | Another unwelcome hold-up from government that should be supporting jobs. Totally agree with Rolands approach on this. For reference Dalradian bills may still be unresolved. Gold mining dispute between PSNI and Dalradian escalates 31 October 2016 hxxp://www.irishnews PSNI blame republicans for refusal to explain mine costs Supt Knox confirmed that they are in discussions with Dalradian and Stormont departments about how it can contribute to “the associated costs, but balancing that with consideration to local economic and employment interests". hxxp://www.policepro PSNI locked in legal standoff with gold mining company over unpaid security fees 31 Oct 2016 The PSNI has refused to clarify how it has accumulated such a large bill, as revealing such details could potentially aid criminals and paramilitary groups. Gordon Best, a spokesman for the Quarry Products Association Northern Ireland, described the prospect of companies being charged for the transport and delivery of explosives as “very troubling”. He said: “Sites operating close to the border and therefore in possibly higher risk areas could become unviable and uncompetitive in comparison to their southern counterparts who are not subject to the same escort charges.” | bageo
24/4/2017 07:19 | What a shocker! It seems Roland is taking the precipitate approach to get a reaction from the authorities but nevertheless absolutely not what we wanted to hear. Ultimately I suspect it will be sorted out but sometimes you despair about this country! Nobby | nobbygnome
13/4/2017 20:10 | I think the consistent buying today, at these lowly levels, is very interesting and shows support. Surely if they were not expecting success, then they wouldn't be going to all these lengths, with the Underground mine, but rather dragging their heels? Bodes well, in my opinion. | hazl
13/4/2017 19:34 | GAL mentioned on the proactive investor site article today..interesting! www.proactiveinvesto | the stinger
13/4/2017 18:09 | Nobby,I guess it safe to say that the MMs have more access to information than retail investors. | panagos
13/4/2017 17:41 | Let's hope the MMs are short as then, when the expected positive judicial review outcome appears, the price correction will be all the more dramatic. Caught and short..... Nobby | nobbygnome
13/4/2017 15:41 | More and more buying and barely a tick up! Astonished. | el_duderino_7885
13/4/2017 12:22 | They say good things come to those that wait............ | hazl
13/4/2017 11:26 | Lots of buying today and no price movement? Few sells earlier in the week and the price drops significantly? What gives? Anyone with L2 see a big sell order being filled? | el_duderino_7885
13/4/2017 09:39 | I think it needed to be announced, even though in the overall time scale it is almost noise, as no timings are guaranteed. If there are specific reasons for a change in schedule then it is appropriate to announce. i.e. If they reach early ore this would also need to be announced as price sensitive. Good news on the portal. | bageo |
