One question for you all - if it delists, isnt the company required to buy the shares off you at an agreed price.....otherwise it would be a private company but not 100% of the shares would be held by the directors...

...unless it meant that you were entitled to a share of the profits distributed much the same as if you were a director in a private company??

I am not a holder but the question came to me ...

maestro - the Queen sold her holdings in GMP a lonmg time ago, remember, she has advisors telling her when to buy and sell. Believe it was a small loss but then again not really privvy to that info.
There have been rumours of a defence contract UK and others but as has been said, the slide has started, if someone wants them then why not let them hit bottom and pick up and re-build the pieces.

Why would someone want to take them out now ? Wait until they run out of cash and buy from the liquidator.

OK, someone tell me why I shouldn't buy these now. I work extensively with plans, maps etc and the sort of digital mapping that this company has could be worth a fortune to planners, government etc. I have watched these for a year and thankfully haven't bought, but the company valuation now is tiny! The biggest problem I see is that OS have squeezed them out, but surely somebody else will want this company?

Opinions welcome.( I would also like to see the iii post)

Looks like we all got it wrong on this one. Directors do not, however, control this company and so we just need someone to put a resolution to remove the main board. You have to wonder what this bunch of amateurs have been up to lately - they spend a year or so taking legal action against OS, they then backdown and pay OS a settlement (the wrong way around if you are taking action) on the belief of winning contracts with OS and then OS tell them that they are not able to fulfil their spec. OS must be laughing on this one...! What are the directors up to? Next thing will be OS offering to buy the company for a penny and offering the directors a nice little job. I thought the price held up well today, all things considered...maybe we haven't seen the end on this one. Any views?

Er, sorry maestro but I did ask you on this thread:

"OK so why is it any good? No cash left, never made a profit, loss of 2.8 m on 3.4 turnover. Another "potential" company which needs heavy funding just to survive".

Todays news hardly a shock is it? Fishing in small companies with no research, no fundamentals equals your money up in smoke. It ain't easy, I know too well.

Who bought these this morning?? - I bet it was someone who thought...55% fall - im in for the bounce!!

Cant understand holding these - the MM's will have a good idea what value is left in the company, hence the current price......55% fall is a coincidence...if it was, then why not only 20%.

Only hold if you are the eternal optimist!
