07/1/2005 11:29 | From Citywire Monday 03 January 2005 DEREK STUART, ARTEMIS Artemis UK Special Situations (Artemis UK Special Situations) manager Derek Stuart, AAA-rated by Citywire thinks the market will be 'pretty much unchanged' next year. He said: 'The economic headwinds will make going slow, at best the market will grow in the low single digits percentage-wise.' The one bonus according to Stuart is the fact the corporate sector is very cash rich. Stuart will look out for profit warnings and tough trading conditions to provide buying opportunities particularly in the consumer sector. The Artemis team are still fans of the oil sector and in particular the oil services sector where the recent buoyant conditions have yet to really filter through. Stuart favours Abbot Group (ABG) and Expro International (EXR). In mining he holds Xstrata (XTA), Lonmin (LMI) and European Goldfields (EGU). Other sectors Stuart has bought recently include healthcare, IT and media where he has added to his holdings in Future Network (FNET), Centaur and Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNN) although he is keen to stress these are stock specific picks rather than sector plays. | bulls hit bears

14/12/2004 12:31 | big volumes smack in the middle of the trade prices. Are they buys or sells? | bittermint
18/11/2004 13:49 | speculative buying ahead of results I guess | jomyles

16/6/2004 11:03 | gopher - hopefully the share has moved into the 60p-70p channel, up from the 50p-60p channel. Only time will tell! | neilavery
15/6/2004 18:23 | Declined on reasonable volume today. The stock has been weak recently. Any views? | gopher
27/5/2004 17:39 | Could this be the start of a bounce for FNET? 60p is certainly an important support area! If this fails we could be sub 50p. The problem is we have resistance at 65p. | neilavery
13/5/2004 11:20 | Well the MM's didn't like the RNS | neilavery
13/5/2004 10:42 | bigboys. A lot of mid-price trades today. There may be some truth in what you say. | neilavery
13/5/2004 09:33 | A buy out may well be in progress so I hear. Picked some stock up at 66p last month from advice from my broker. So far has risen in a bad market! What does that tell you? | bigboys
12/5/2004 11:40 | Nice to see FNET break through 70p again. Chart and indicators looking good! | neilavery
07/4/2004 12:49 | Good to see that they have chosen to use Marketforce as distributors when this used to be an over my dead body issue for current management. Big survey being conducted in marketplace on what influences peoples decisions to buy games - do not expect magazines to feature. Given how many people buy games circulations of these specialist magazines are poor both relative to this population and also historically. Can not see an exit so dividend not sufficient reason to invest. Ex growth and not large enough. | chas51000
07/4/2004 09:19 | Schroders buying again! | darias
23/1/2004 10:04 | Sell at 95p DYOR | altube
