JW2 wouldnt be a new IP, they already own the right to JW for the JWE game. The RNS stated it was a new IP, and whilst considering licensing laws its not unfeasable that its another JW game, I would be very suprised if it was.

rar100, none of the existing FDEV games have loot boxes.

Marketing for Planet Zoo has begun so I expect to see continuous snippets of info about the game all the way through to launch now.

Other than info about ED, JWE and PC updates I'm not expecting info about other games in the near future.

A US senator introduced a bill to ban "loot boxes" in video games, the Washington Post reports. "Social media and video games prey on user addiction, siphoning our kids' attention from the real world and extracting profits from fostering compulsive habits," said Sen. Josh Hawley in a statement.

Not saying that there is any truth to the leak. But if you want to speculate, the leak mentioned the new IP being JW2.

I'd agree with you that playing this type of game on a PC would always be better than on a console. Not all console players have a gaming PC however, and many console players stick to that particular console for gaming.
