Read further down the statement.

Cash balance at the end of December was £19.9m.

That half year loss is just the tricked number FDEV put on the front page.

The true operating loss is shown later, £33m.

But of more immediate concern is the cash balance, down 40% to £17m at end November, and no statement on where it stands now.

You think a "mostly positive" Steam rating is below average?

News today from FDEV. Company is to convert one of its dismal Foundry games to consoles. hxxps://www.frontier.co.uk/news/press-releases/deliver-%E2%80%8Bemperor%E2%80%8Bs-judgement-warhammer-40000-chaos-gate-daemonhunters-charges . This the first Warhammer game, which earned a below average Steam score and got barely half the number of players v. the disastrous F1 Manager game the same year, 2022.

You are welcome, smithie. But note, rarely do the bears here actually disagree with my points. They simply object to them being aired.

....any share can have bulls & bears & the bulls for FDEV surely disagree with some of your points

But you are definitely posting some good info (such as snippets from Zeus analysis & data from Stream) & creating the option of debate about that info.

10/10 for your last 2 informative posts

Re the F1 Manager 2023 fail, the latest Zeus quarterly review gives a significantly lower midline number for sales to date. £2.4m. For full FY, this projects to ~£19m shortfall on the £22m guidance.

Zeus overall forecasts "no revenue growth over the next two years to FY26 and insignificant profitability over the period."

Why do you care? You aren’t invested and see failure and criminality at every turn yet don’t do anything but write on investor boards until you get barred, then you create a new account with a new name every time 😆. How’s “prudence̶1; doing?

F1 Manager 2023's damage to FY24 revenue looks like £17m, excluding a fee from Microsoft which FDEV has yet to quantify.

The next profit warning should quantify what FDEV has disclosed only as "lower than expected" sales, but meanwhile Steam analytics now are sufficient to give this rough number.

Graph here >>> <<< suggests 75% underperformance compared to the previous edition, which itself fell short of expectations and dropped the share price by 40%.

The next update should show the extent to which FDEV have delivered on their declared "any revenue shortfall in FY24 is expected to be offset by continued strong performance across the rest of the portfolio, as well as confirmed but as yet unannounced additional revenue streams" but the industry data on that performance so far shows a very likely, very large fail.

Oh Yank/BigLittle/AAAAA1111
You poor tortured soul. Please spendd your energy and life elsewhere. It’s becoming more and more obvious you are an ex-employee and it’s been nearly 10 years now. You just have criticism but nothing substantial. Surely you have more to do oblige?

I sparked up my elite dangerous account yesterday just to honour you 😆

Please let it go. I’ve made money here and will buy back in if it hits 100 but I’m not obsessed. TBH I’ve made more money from sainsburys! Just thinking of your mental health, that’s all. Happy New Year. Let it go.

Sbb1x, considered there might be a real reason for today's 10% drop? FDEV's holiday sale just ended. Steam numbers show utterly dire performance. FDEV's plan to cover the F1 shortfall from old game sales is destroyed. Do your research rather than just blame a bogeyman seller.

lyndley on Realms of Ruin, "I suppose fdev are now in that weird position again, wondering whether if it makes business sense to continue to support it."

FDEV is out of comfortable options. I predict it will do the same as last time, with its previous PC multiplayer combat game. Withdraw support, turn off the servers making all live copies of the game unplayable, then lie to investors that it is "continuing to support the game".

Adding another nail in the coffin of this management's credibility.

Good question. The profit warning following the December trading mentioned in the last update should be 'without delay' according to AIM rules. So, real soon now.

Expect FY revenue to get a substantial downgrade from the current £90m analyst concensus. I note that even an upramper on this board was a few days ago saying £80m.

>since you seem to be claiming that the co. has no sales & makes no margin on sales

Nonsense. On the contrary, I just recently here reported the slightly-above-zero sales of the latest game Realms of Ruin.

======

Expected annual turnover £80 million.
That is a big amount.
Realms of Ruin has not sold well but clearly some games are selling.
Company cap. value <£55million.
Quite cheap for a games developer. Sure, the company needs to turn around it's sales trend & get past this difficult stage of reducing staff numbers.

Paul Jourdan's Amati fund is quitting FDEV. See the latest newsletter.

For those who don't know, Amati was FDEV's first fund investor. Following IPO, Amati with Lansdowne owned 10% of the company. Lansdowne too has quit.

> The key question is how much of the recent poor performance is in the share price.

No, the key question is how much of the FUTURE performance is in the share price, inc. raising cash to keep lights on through the long wait for next new game release in 2025.
