This potential resource needs to be evaluated and developed over a coming decade, however preliminary rough estimates indicate that in case of success the scale of the resource can be comparable to some most successful shale gas plays in the US.

Like I said Stephen, either Zaza is an Oscar winning worthy actor or he is telling the truth about a deal with a super major being imminent.

Thanks for the feedback lads would have liked to gone to meeting but to busy with my 1 year old twins but if this does hit the jackpot it would be good catching up and having a few drinks with those that have made this journey more pleasent through its dark days.

I agree Fozzer, Zaza looked really confident and somewhat relaxed which means he’s got this going in the right direction.

His comment ‘when we get Taribani away’ was the most enlightening comment he made.

It was sadly missed....by most....

Just to add I think one of the super majors is Exxon.

On the T field I suspect a partner will fast track the drilling and fund the 2019 oil campaign. They'll probably commit $30-50m to the T field initially. This is small change for a super major hence why I think the deal will be announced very soon.

On the MK field, they may well do some more seismic or just go straight after another deep gas drill. Further down the road, if a major gas discovery is made at the MK field I'd start to think of a full on take over of FRR. This could be a couple of years away yet though.

In life as in business, people duck questions/reality, don't tell the truth and actively lie.

I was at the meeting Tune, not only did I hear Zaza which we can all do now but I saw him. There is no way he is lying about the super majors and a deal being imminent. There was no stuttering or spluttering in his words, there were no tell tale facial or body language gestures suggesting he was lying or covering up anything. Like I keep saying either Zaza is a world class Oscar worthy actor or he is telling the truth. I believe he is telling the truth about the super majors.

I have got a real feel for where this company is now and I'm very glad I attended the meeting.

You really do come across as a bitter old man with FRR and I think this will lose you money. You're too emotionally involved now.


The below was in an RNS over a month ago.

"Whilst these discussions are at an early stage, they have taken a significant step forward with both interested parties having attended extended site surveys and management meetings."

How long do you think it will take for a super major to conclude a deal with a small cap AIM company? From what Zaza said the technical studies are nearly complete and talks will now move onto the commercial terms. It does sound like a deal is nearly done.

I don't think those are our train loads of oil matey.

My take,

Deal is imminent with the Super Majors, they'll probably fund all the drilling next year with FRR being carried carry with a % of the revs spilt xyz.

The T wells have not been put into continuous production but are being tested, I think the technical work is about completed now and the commercials are next to be discussed with the super majors.

Money is super tight, Zaza may have used YA's "antics" to stall paying them in shares or cash. I think Zaza is trying to haul FRR over the finishing line without any further dilution. However it would not surprise me if YA got one or cash payments before the year end and the deal with the Super Majors is complete.


Share price on JV news? Depends on the deal but if Exxon are in the mix I'd expect a massive spike up. FRR will be the talk of the town again.
