I don't think you need emails and TW to deduce that YA have not been paid in cash. If they were up to date with cash payments Zaza would be shouting it from the rooftops. It strengthens his position markedly.

Once you conclude that Zaza hasn't paid in cash you have to ask why? The fact they are having a spat over share conversion, alleged illegal sale of shares resulting thereof, is neither here nor there.

Thus no cash to pay YA means no significant oil coming out of Tarabani which almost certainly means no interest in Niko and no interest in a JV.

You can all get super excited about TW, insider dealing or similar but if there is no oil coming out of Tarabani then YA won't get paid but surely more important to you guys equity is screwed and you'll lose all your money.

An example of dealing with better knowledge than others, which is NOT illegal.

An oil rig is drilling for oil but, at the end of the time it would take to hit target depth, it quickly packs up and heads off to its next assignment. If I hire a boat to spy on the rig and conclude that it has left too early and deduce that it can't have made a discovery, I could legally short the shares.

Over at UKOG, there are a number of bulls parked outside trying to count the number of oil tankers coming in and out of the site. They aren't doing anything illegal.

You have a point re insider dealing but if an insider/advisor told those meant to be on the outside a placing was coming and to attempt to drive the price down to their and benefit that is both market manipulation and insider dealing.

Not sure about your interpretation of insider dealing. I think YA have seriously messed up though.

None of that really matters big picture, what's important is flow rates and news from the two Majors interest in FRR.

No-one here has said they've seen the emails, just that they believe that TW has - I've no reason to think he would lie over such a matter but can understand that others might think so.

Strictly speaking, it would not be illegal in any way to trade whilst having direct knowledge of the emails anyway. Trading with greater knowledge and information than others is not illegal. Trading with greater knowledge as a result of having been officially taken "inside" is illegal, however.
