YA have been shorting FRR for yonks and Zaza has had enough. Time will tell but my bet is FRR tried to pay in cash (cheque) before end of Aug and immediately after the conversion request. Time will tell but let's agree to disagree.

I disagree and think Zaza has the cash and is arguing from a position of strength, would be crazy and counter productive otherwise
------------------------------------------------

It could equally be that he just can't pay YA as has no money and can't issue shares as that's the same as saying that the T wells have failed. I think it is far more likely he's decided to just try to kick YA into the long grass with the other creditors because he can't pay them. The only way to do this and not admit that the wells have failed is to claim some sort of transgression by YA and tie them up in lawyers for a while.

If as you say he is doing it from a position of strength it makes no sense whatsoever. He'd be far better off just paying them what he owes them. As you keep telling me if the wells can do 1000 boepd then YA become an insignificant debt which can be repaid in a few monthly installments. Why bother to get in a fight with YA over a poxy 2.65m (paid over 12 months) if you are producing 1000boepd?

Exploration oil companies do have more debt as the concept is to prove up resources in the grand scheme of things +50 million isnt a great deal if the resouces are proven to be multiples of this

I disagree and think Zaza has the cash and is arguing from a position of strength, would be crazy and counter productive otherwise. Accounts will show more revenue, more costs and more losses but I expect an ops update after.

tickboo - I’d be fairly confident that whatever they’ve got from sales, losses will indeed be up. I think they’re out of cash, to me explains the spat with YA. But we’ll see. Yes they’ve got rid of a lot of debt through huge dilution, but there still remains more. This is a dreadful company through and through.

Much less of a going concern before the balance sheet was improved, albeit with massive dilution. They'll be ugly but how ugly remains to be seen. I think revenues will be up but with the 3 drills so will expenditure so losses will be up too.

No reason for them to, last year they were released pre market. No doubt they’ll be a horror show as usual. Surely a “going concern” candidate.

I don't see why. The results will obviously show a massive loss as assuming the bopd from the EWT hasn't dropped off massively a lot of the oil revenues will be realised in H2. Hopefully some of T-45 is in H1 and revenue can double from the same period last year. They usually put out an ops update a few days later so I'm expecting one on Weds or thurs next week.

Ref FRR,

Good or bad I think the market is very close to some answers. If I lose the lot then it's a lesson learned and I have only myself to blame. I will continue to hold for the next few weeks and months though.

Good luck.

Agreed. Hopefully there won't be another meeting as we're taken over lock stock but a takeover party would be even better. Living in hope. Logging off for a bit and stuff to do. A tough morning with wand hasn't helped my mood!

Ah it's RB40 - I wondered why you were quite so upset by my comment on LSE! Now it makes sense. I did unfilter you almost straight away though!

Ok fair enough. Let's just not discuss politics!!

sorry tickboo let's call a truce then. I apologise for calling you an idiot. I just can't stand all the people moaning about Brexit. It's a done deal and we need to get on with it. Unfortunately can't make Thursday as I am North of the Border and have early Friday meetings so probably couldn't get back (and no private plane or helicopter unfortunately :-) ). Gutted as I would love to meet some of the holders and ask a few pertinent questions.

Oh on LSE my pseudonym is Retireby40 and the reason I have a different name is due to an ex patrolling the BBs thinking I spend too much time on them so I thought I could post in peace on here without her knowing. She had and still has a point re time on BBs.
