Couple of good posts on lse today -

I'm hedging my bets on the 2 majors having been involved behind the scenes with Frontera from a data collection and analysis point of view since before the arbitration was confirmed way back in April with the RNS saying "Whilst these discussions are at an early stage, they have taken a significant step forward with both interested parties having attended extended site surveys and management meetings". I think the arbitration (a bit of a non issue) only came about because of the majors sniffing around and finally whoever is involved (Exxon, Repsol, Socar or even BP) gave permission last week for the detail in the RNS to be released. We won't have long to wait at all for further material news imo. Now this is out in the public domain I don't think the majors will waste anytime in striking a deal with FRR before anyone else starts sniffing around. Unless of course an 'exclusivity agreement' were to be announced in the mean time.
If we get confirmation that one of the majors is Exxon this would likely fly to the 2p mark. The flow rates are likely to turn out better than what many predicted....the majors will have seen the results and like what they see. Even Zaza mentions the word 'commercial' in mon's RNS..... "all currently drilled three wells have demonstrated commercial oil deliverability from Zones 14 and 15 of the Eldari A and Zone 19 of the Eldari B formations."
No one ever doubted the HUGE reserves of oil and gas down there but obviously the geology of the area and the previously 35yr old drilled soviet wells with primitive technology back then have not helped but I do believe that they have finally cracked the code with regards to commercial well deliverability of all zones.

The timing is interesting too, with the new finance minister to assume the role from the 10th. What better way to start the job with the announcement of O&G discovery, coupled with major companies involved in the extraction and delivery?

You raise a valid point too; 'Now this is out in the public domain I don't think the majors will waste anytime in striking a deal with FRR before anyone else starts sniffing around.' This makes much sense and I agree, it will encourage parties to close the deal sooner than later.

Exxon were in country earlier this summer too, escorted by government officials, which adds weight to the Exxon partnership; you don't get that kind of hospitality if things are not serious and given the indication of how big this is, the government will be keen to develop this resource asap to bring them to the world stage and improve GDP with all the trappings that are associated with that. Who better than to encourage a company with a good track record and reputation to be responsible for delivering that?

Coupled with that and the new minister we could have news as early as this week.

In the short term, I agree, 2p, possibly 3p, but in the longer term (5yrs) , based on Zara's comments, I believe this could go to 20p.

If Turkey and Russia end up at war over Idlib then it could be game over here.

Stanley,

Your days of being a hard man are well behind you pal. You're an overweight chap in his 60's.

Anyway, like I told you. Fighting is for the low status scum on the streets of London thinking they are Tony Montana trying to position themselves in the hierarchy.

I'll give you a game a snakes and ladders though. That's it.

Have a good day and try and keep your blood pressure down.

Foz - I'll join you for that shandy in Leeds if this hits 3p :) I actually think even without news this could close between 0.5-0.6p by end of this week

Next stop is 0.60p in the next 4-6 weeks, Loggy will be able to buy more eh.

Testing 0.45p next week.

To get past 1.2p the market will need some concrete news on the two majors.

I'd love Zaza to drop the E bomb on the market.

Good luck and just my view.

Good Evening Stanley,

I'll keep it quick. It only takes that one time to "pull it out of the bag" and there's only one black swan event.

Ill give you two reasons why friend.

1) Any other AIM company would have folded by now and did...Thethys, Blake oil, Can Argo, Range etc yet Frontera kept going with Directors heavily investing. Why? Because they had belief in what they were doing and they knew the potential, they knew.

2) Big oil has now entered the picture...Exxon, Repsol, Schumberger and the Chinese. There all in Georgia for the huge potential that lays under the soil. I think Big oil believes the hydrocarbon basins are giants in Georgia and greatly surpass those in Azerbaijan. The basins in Georgia were just a little bit more difficult to get at due to all that tectonic activity millions of years ago. However, with the modernisation of drilling those once difficult unconventional fields are now conventional.

No need to wait 5-10 years to see this come good. All the work and pain has been done. This will come reet very soon.

Booze wipes out about 5% of people Stanley. I've seen it first hand destroy incredibly talented people. However, when this goes to 3p I'll have a real shandy bitter in ya pub. On the house?

Oil reserves in Georgia
21:38, 07.09.2018

Interest in obtaining oil and gas supplies in Georgia is increasing.

Investors pay millions of dollars in research. New Chinese companies have entered the market this year and already have 9 million lari in the budget. Companies make the first comment on their plans with the First Channel. After the seismic surveys, investors will start searching for oil reserves in different parts of the country.
