Some really good ramping today. Sadly not by @fozz who has been really poor at it.

The XOM "news" is great way to ramp. It is a great shame @fozz didn't come up with this one he's gone down in my estimations.

Keep going lads you are doing me proud!

For the avoidance of doubt FRR is a PoS with worthless assets in my view ;-)

Great to see a tight spread too. If T-45 is a success this will surely be near to 1p. Exxon having a B12 tour and looking in on UD-2's frac.

I like this one too from pyro lse Exxon said to Dustin, go and work for FRR and check what they got there for us. Sent their best man, someone that could get it out if it was there, prove its worth and give Exxon the early nod. That would be nice, but pure speculation I also think Shell expressed an interest in that Anadarko off shore shelf - but not 100%

Oopsi on lseDustin and ExxonWonder if any of Dustin's Exxon buddies he has worked with in the past are in Georgia now. Maybe he felt the need to contact them. From his LinkedIn: Executive VP Operations Ely & Associates February 2011 – September 2017 (6 years 8 months) | Houston, Texas Area MANAGEMENT AND TEAM LEADERSHIP • Manage a diverse consulting group of 5 operations mangers and 95+ field staff working globally for oil and gas majors (Shell, Exxon, etc.) and independents (Anadarko, Newfield, Murphy, Carrizo, etc.)

Once you're wiped out on spread bets you're out of the game.

My honest opinion is that Exxon are sniffing round the Gas on B12. It would be hard to believe that they haven't seen the ud2 data.

I don't think Exxon will be that concern with flow rates from a 30 odd year old damaged well. The biggest oil company in the world will be interested in proof of concept.

It's all becoming very strange.

Just a guess.

It all looks very positive with T-45 testing, UD-2 being fracced today or over the weekend, Dino-2 soon after (end of next week) and T-39 being drilled imminently.Proof is in the pudding so although it all looks good we need decent flow from T-45 and hopefully we'll hear next week. I wonder if an Exxon and Georgian gov Energy specialist are at ud-2 today. Silly not to be.

Frontera Resources (FRR) – Corporate – Dino-2 well logs 78.8m of net pay
Market Cap £86m Price 0.55p
Frontera announced yesterday (circa 9:18 AM) that the Dino-2 well drilled into the Taribani oil field encountered 78.8m of net pay based on drilling and wireline logs. Logging further confirmed that the cement bond holding the steel casing in place is sound, which is a precondition for successful fracture operations. Oil and gas shows were observed during drilling.
This is the second well in a three well campaign at the Taribani oilfield. The objectives of all three wells are identical: to produce comingled production from Zones 9, 14 and 15 after independently fracking each zone. The company is currently preparing to frack the first of the three wells, the T-45 well.
We had anticipated a good log result and cement bond, so the news from Dino-2 is line with our expectations and focuses attention on the critical forthcoming frack operations and production rates thereafter.
The testing operations represent one of the most exciting appraisal drilling programmes being undertaken by an AIM company in 2018, in our opinion. We hold this view because the programme is premised on the successful and established long-term production (circa 9 years) from a single zone, due to the scale of the resource (109 mb recoverable, based on our estimates) and because success would represent a play opener on a massive 100% held land position.
We retain our 0.74p/sh fair value estimate. Our success-case valuation for Taribani (Zones 9, 14 and 15) equates to $484m or 2.2p/sh.

Seymour Bottoms on iii-Very interesting and potentially substantial development for FRR, probably motivated by US politicals, no doubt. I also think SN may have leveraged political and industry connections (via Atlantic Council and ConocoPhillips) to bring this about. The bigger question is (if we put political motivations aside), why the hell would the biggest oil company would be interested in country like Georgia where oil and gas production at best, is negligible. So, I believe Exxon has seen all the data and log samples and are convinced with B12 potential/geology. Remember, FRR has been saying for a while that our Gareji payzone shares the same maykop formation that is being exploited offshore in Azerbaijan and could have 202TCF. However , the differences are (and they are big differences), first, we are onshore and so much cheaper to operate and 2) there is huge amount infra running through to B12 making transportation convenient. Now, the other big factor that comes in to play and is a MASSIVE sign is the arbitration request which popped out of nowhere. Well, not really. Consider this for a moment: The Georgians would have known for a while about this official Exxon trip and they thought, 'holy sheeiit' something is going down with FRR so better try to claw back some of this prospective acreage, which is completely different to what they were telling us in November when they said you have another 5-yrs of field study. The more I think about it, the more I believe FRR is inter-connected with high-US political policy to reduce Russia's energy grip on Europe. Remember the next big transformation or energy independence project is Moldova where 'lil on FRR has already secured a 50-yr PSA, followed up with Ukraine. If FRR is clearing/ploughing the road for a Major like Exxon, surely we are made. As usual, I only offer my thoughts.

Rightly excited foz. You don't know me...but I ain't a newbie.....been through it all. (First shares bought well over a penny)
Hope this wakes the market up ! Bloody well should !!!

Steve always said resources are cheap to extract. Exxon are gonna love us....and with Steve's connections of the past.........probably Exxon have been in the kno for years. Bugsy's find is probably just them coming out of the shadows.

All I can say is that if there's some half decent flow rates from T45 and Ud2 i.e 300bopd+ and 3mmmcfpd the rumor mill will be in overdrive reg Big Oil.

Just guess...

Good luck to you Bugsy...

Can only assume that Exxon have information that leads them to believe that there could be significant potential in Georgia. I can't see the biggest energy company the world being that interested in the oil so I have to assume it's the Gas potential that Exxon are interested in.

Just WTF is going on??? Is the timing with ud2 having a Big Frac just a coincidence?

Here's hoping lads.. All oil and gas field data from all of Georgia's wells pass right over the desk of Georgi Tatishvili, SAOG top man every week..
The same Giorgi Tatishvili who said 3 years ago that " there are no large volumes of gas in Georgia"...
And the same Giorgi Tatishvili who stood up at a meeting last year and said " We now need foreign investment to exploit the large volumes of gas in Georgia"..

Seems to me he's seen some hellish gas field data..
Best get to work, GLA...

Fester...

In my opinion B12 is by far the best acreage with the most potential.

This is what FRR said in s recent RNS in context with Ud2.

"The Middle Miocene-aged Gareji reservoir is a very well known, prolific oil and gas-bearing formation in the area, the Oligocene and Lower Miocene-aged Maykop reservoir is a world class rock source for a number of large oil and gas fields situated within the Black Sea and Caspian Sea areas, one of which is the giant Shah Deniz gas field offshore Caspian"

In my honest opinion the timing of Exxon's visit is not just a coincidence with FRRs tests of T45 and FRAC of Ud2.

Could Exxon Mobil be Frontera "strategic industry partner"? If this was officially announced I think the Share price would go insane.

Just a guess by me and I haven't a clue. These are only my thoughts.

What other blocks are all worked out in Georgia.
Their not over there wasting their time looking at some piece of dirt they know nothing about.
Their looking at block 12.....which our little shell companies completely sussed out for them....ACE IN THE HOLE.

Thanks Bugsy, top man :-)

I'll assumed you've translated the Georgian and I'll take you on good faith. They sure look like American's in the picture!!!

Well well well...

My mind is coming up with some interesting theories. The biggest oil company in the world whom don't own any licenses rocking up to Georgia to discuss oil and gas exploration in Georgia.

Just what the funk is going on? What a coincidence that they turn up just when T45 is being tested and Ud2 is about to receive the big FRAC.

I'm dreaming of a 10p a share offer.

Just a guess

'dros (Steve Nicandros) knows a lot of senior bods in all the US majors. I'm not saying this visit is about B12 and a buy out or JV but Exxon did not bid at the last year's Georgian tenders so it's funny timing they're over now. I've no doubt that gas is the attractive asset here and elsewhere so if ud-2 works well it opens up a massive field and asset. A coincidence they're in Georgia at the precise time ud-2 is being stimulated. Who knows but I doubt it. The big frac At ud-2 may well fail but it's interesting an O&G major is in Georgia at this pivotal time.
