19/4/2018 08:52 | What Zaza and the team need to show the market now is that commercial hydrocarbons can be successful extracted in meaningful amounts. If T45 flows then I believe the market will show a lot of good faith to Zaza and start pricing into the share price success at Dino and T39. I also think the market will start getting excited about Ud2 flow rates. Anything around 3mmcfpd at Ud2 is a transformational result. Don't forgot as Mole pointed out brilliantly this morning FRR are only testing a small section of Ud2. Of course if T45 doesn't flow oil in market pleasing rates it's a huge set back for investors. 1.6p spike on good T45 results, dropping back to 1.2p 0.25p on bad results. Just a guess. NO buy/sell advise, these are just my thoughts out loud. | thefozzer
19/4/2018 08:52 | I'm interested to know what the bulls will think in the case of an inconclusive update full of excuses. FRR have used lots of different ones in the past but they all amount to the same thing failure. As it happens UD-2 is going through that right now. "It didn't flow but we know how to fix that"... type statement. Other excuses include things like "tool dropped down the well", "well integrity issues mean we'll have to drill a side-track" etc. etc. ..and so it goes on. Obviously to do any of these fixes requires cash so lots of smiles and promises of riches to come then back out with the cap for a whip round. Sound familiar? We'll see. | loglorry1
19/4/2018 08:39 | Tickboo It matters little now what has happened in the past. If they had a great record in the past and this well T-45 is a dud then the share price would get hammered all the same. But yes they are in the last chance saloon. So the management have a lot hanging on this well being good. The fact is there are a lot of people that think this is going to fail and are very vocal. So if successful it should be a shock and reflect in the share price So the shorts could be in for a very nasty shock. | peterpowell21
19/4/2018 08:38 | Morning Tickboo, Yep, if T45 fails to deliver meaningful flow rates then isn't doesn't bode well for a "quick profit" and investors would see a dip in the share price. I'm not expecting 1000 bopd sustained from T45. In my honest opinion anything from 300bopd - 400bopd is an incredible result. Even 200bopd would be a very good result which would generate $5.2 pa. I guess FRR are planning 7 wells this year, if each well flowed 200bopd that would generate around $36m pa. Anything sub 200bopd and I think the share price would drop a few percent. Not long to wait, I think we'll get a red dot Friday or Monday. Just a guess | thefozzer
18/4/2018 20:09 | You have nothing to worry about with your short then Log :-) You should be loading up on your position. It's nearly time... | thefozzer
18/4/2018 17:44 | Understand now thanks peter | mick1909
18/4/2018 17:01 | Fozz 7 wells pumping 70bopd,lol, they will still say that is 70 bopd to many. | peterpowell21
18/4/2018 16:56 | Mick Cash calls = margin calls = cash available. All the same you have to top up your cash available if it goes below zero. | peterpowell21
18/4/2018 16:54 | Or just to keep the short sellers happy, it could be 7 wells pumping out 70bopd!!! Just a muse | thefozzer
18/4/2018 16:52 | Brent crude = $73.13, some "experts think $75-$80 this year. Fast forward to YE, 7 wells pumping out 2800bopd giving revenue of over $75m pa. Within the next 7 days I predict a massive move up or down in this stock... Best of luck to holders. | thefozzer
18/4/2018 16:40 | Cheers Peter, Yep, I guess the leverage and tax free profit is a big selling point. I like my shares, I can just sit back and watch the story unfold. Good evening Thefozzer | thefozzer
18/4/2018 16:31 | What do you mean by cash calls?Just curious as ive got a markets.com account and dont have to pay any cash calls | mick1909
18/4/2018 15:36 | Fozz I have shares in all three companies as well. In fact you have not been able to go long on Vast for months on IG. But yes the spread is large at times, but i like the leverage, no tax and no costs. But you have to know what your doing, and can afford the cash calls when they come, and they do come. | peterpowell21
18/4/2018 15:16 | AMER is blowing north | dodge city
18/4/2018 15:04 | I only ask as the spread with IG is quite wide, no commission or tax to pay though I guess. | thefozzer
18/4/2018 14:54 | Peter, If you don't mind me asking, why are you spread betting and not buying shares? Do you find it cheaper or is it the tax benefits? Cheers and good luck | thefozzer
18/4/2018 14:50 | I am long on FRR, VAST,and MTL in the AIM market. All are due news soon. Could be a good month or bad, that is the beauty about AIM you just don't know whats going to happen. Well most the time we do, it never turns out as we expect. But this time it will be different, he says with fingers and toes crossed. | peterpowell21
18/4/2018 14:49 | I'm echoing back the emotions of the market, especially from a bulls point of view...There's also probably an element of wishful thinking based on my long position and a tiny bit of quasar A-level business analysis. Just the same as you Log :-) Just a guess | thefozzer
18/4/2018 14:41 | log You know what they say, "every dog has its day". Well you and the shorters have had many a year. I am expecting some very good results soon that will finally give these long suffering holders something to shout about. I have to say i like your style, you at least tell the truth about your intentions. I do have to say i think anyone who is shorting these at the moment is mad. But its our money and we can all waste it as we like. I added another 800 pound on my spread bet this morning at 0.55p. I would say good luck to you but then i would be lying. | peterpowell21
18/4/2018 14:40 | Log, You give me far too much credit. Nothing I say will influence one person to buy or sell one share. It's news and TA that drives the share price. I'm just an echo chamber of the market... Sentiment is good right now, will it get even better in the days and weeks ahead? Best of British Thefozzer | thefozzer
18/4/2018 13:58 | Here are some tips @fozz "This one is going to blow!!!" "MM holding it back" "This is worth multiples of the current price" "When shorts are forced to cover this is going to explode" "Zaza put millions of his own money in here and for good reason" "The gas assets alone are worth multiples of current price" "There's billions of pounds of oil in the ground and 400M+ of cost recover so tax free" I don't want to put words in your mouth and I obviously can't ramp as I think the company is a PoS but just in case you were lost for inspiration. Good luck Log | loglorry1
18/4/2018 13:56 | My guess is that we'll have stabilised flow rates on T-45 and some initial info on the ud-2 frac come 9 May. We may even have initial news on Dino-2 assuming all is okay there. | tickboo |
