10/10/2017 16:15 | LOL this is the chap He's had 2 years training with Schlumberger after college then 6 years with Ely associates. Hasn't bothered to update his linked in to show that he's working for FRR I notice. So 8 years experience in total! Most of that seems to be to do with fracking in the US. I assume like most of the US frack industry Ely & Associates are laying people off over recent years. Looking at Glassdoor he will have been earning around about $100K/year. I have a feeling that Nicandros and Zaza may have been over egging this a bit. | loglorry1
10/10/2017 16:06 | @tickboo hold on a moment. So they had $400m+ to spend in the past but they didn't bother hiring anyone that knew what they were doing because it was better to have someone who didn't know what they were doing since it was only 5.8TCF at stake? In any case there was no access to EU energy markets (still isn't I suppose) so there really was no point even trying? C'mon this is all just guff. I think you've been listening too much to Nicandros and Zaza. A new engineer with an impressive CV won't change the geology. BTW I've seen plenty of "impressive engineers" who have joined companies which are dead ducks. More often than not they are not as impressive as the company would like you to believe. Also it's amazing what a few stock options here and there can achieve. Do you have more info on the chap so I can do some research please? | loglorry1
10/10/2017 16:02 | Did you check out wand as I advised?! | tickboo
10/10/2017 16:01 | I doubt that with the oil now funded and in play. You're obviously out again dodge. | tickboo
10/10/2017 15:49 | Log, they appointed an impressive new engineer who wouldn't join a dead duck. They stopped investing in ud-2 due to the MoE and the accession to the EU Energy community has meant the markets have to be opened and now are (hence KK left the MoE). Now they have the green light and they're getting both gas and oil plays going to reduce risk. Looking very good as both funded. | tickboo
10/10/2017 15:41 | It all depends upon the outcome at UD-2. Are you saying the future of FRR a company that has spent over $400m to date rests on a 20+ year old well drilled by the Russians already tested by them and again to some extent two years ago by FRR without success. The difference now being that they will spend £500K on it in for a workover. Not sure I'd want to rest the future of a £100m company on that but OK then. | loglorry1

10/10/2017 13:57 | Devex on iiiWell I think that was an interesting RNS ? albeit I agree that to a large extent it is a very welcome progress report on what we already expect. However I think we need to tie this up with the other RNSs that have appeared recently, and of course the 2 Investor Event meetings. There are things that Zaza can say, and things he can?t. Here is my view as to what he is really telling us/others - but can?t actually say: - The constraints of the past ? mainly to do with politics and cash - are no longer holding us back. I will now drive this forward with great energy, and use all the tools at my disposal. - I am determined to move this forward ? and quickly. I promise to keep you informed along the way ? so please trust me. Please remember that I have personally risked ?1.25 million on the recent placings in addition to my previous support ? which is now 100% equity based. - I am prepared to give you very clear timelines ? and will be judged against these. Eg October 15th, end October, etc etc - Technically we really do know what we are doing. We have planned this for a long time ? and we believe have an excellent chance to succeed. - Of course we want to drive the revenue opportunity ? but we also wish to accelerate getting significant reserves onto the balance sheet as a matter of urgency - To potential strategic partners ? I will work tirelessly to drive the value of FRR up. The longer you wait to decide on collaboration the more expensive it will be ? and I will not do a deal unless the price is right. - We welcome all investors, but particularly those who are prepared to invest for the longer term. If you trade you will get no help from me, and you risk missing key deliverables. Just my view, and I could add more | tidy 2
10/10/2017 13:52 | Loglorry Are you suddenly the new JR?😂😂 | cudmore
10/10/2017 13:41 | Jaknife - I think perhaps it's also so the directors can sell down. Zaza and Nicandros won't want to hold this many shares. The two/three prospects at the center of the latest news have all been well explored and have yielded nothing. It is ludicrous to assume that spending another 500K at UD2 and another $3m or so at Dino will result in much. FRR has spent over $400m to date on these prospects with nothing but a CPR to show for it. The RNS announcements are also very promotional in my view. The large resource numbers given are for the whole basin. These individual wells won't get anywhere near these numbers. After 15 years Frontera are producing less than 200bopd and have spent over $400m. They've printed shares like confetti with over 14bn in (t)issue now up 15x in the last few years. | loglorry1
