I read the update as being pretty much as expected. We'll see how the market feels in an hour.Silver up a $ and gold also at near record highs since yesterday so shouldn't be a bad day imo

What's not good about it? FY Silver guidance maintained and Gold guidance slightly down in the face of severe COVID related restrictions......and Silver up another 6% overnight

That's the problem. We know that gold and silver prices are going ballistic, but are FRES getting more than a couple of suitcases worth of the stuff out of the ground and away?! Will know soon enough. GLA.

Looks like a lot of people didn't fancy hanging around for the next update. I will be disappointed if it contains any new nasties outside of the expected parameters. Most of my other holdings have pleasantly surprised recently. I hope FRES can keep the positive momentum going for me, as I hold firm...

Less production globally - from the above and almost everywhere else, more demand (see Sprott item this morning), higher prices.

Thus far FRES production not affected. But update tomorrow.

FRES negative despite big moves on PM prices. Hopefully just caution ahead of tomorrow's report and not a leak.Penoles was up 4.5% yesterday albeit Fresnillo is only part of their activities.MAG Silver JV partner also up 4.5% yesterday.

Yes, although coming down. Bit odd.

Might be a gap fill (someone once told me all gaps get filled, although that person has been known to tell the odd porkie), or else just buyers exhausted, or just leaking/caution ahead of production update tomorrow.

That won't be a brilliant update, but anything close to pre-CV19 expected levels is a hell of an achievement when you look at every other PM miner globally. They really have done a fantastic job/been very lucky/managed the Mexico government very well. So far...

It is difficult (for me) to see which way the price will go though - there are reasons for it to rocket, and also to pull back. Anyway, not a bad situation at the moment.

People telling self-serving lies and selective information is quite a thing in the markets - do you know I recall a little controversy here with the twonk who infests this thread re false assertions on mine closures.

Good enough for now though - we're over $20. But isn't it slapdown Tuesday today?
