SSB... This is all set up for a RNS in the morning (last one prior to NAB) and a 8.5p-9p finish tomorrow evening .... 😳

paulcon - a good analysis, and precisely my point – all this has happened over the last 6 months, not the last two weeks. It’s the groundwork and what can now be said about it that is causing the current price movements. As you say, now contracts need to be won for real movement and success, and FBT appears to now be in a much better position for that.

2.8% spread and the bid is over the VWAP, says they can't hold it here with this buying

Well I did say I'm going to keep doing what I did yesterday to make the share price tick up....

This is what's making the price go up

McSean .... Hi mate.... I agree with your analysis, The new CEO has steadied the ship, no doubt, put in place a much needed strategy and a greater emphasis on Sales and Marketing. Those matched with the Technical advances/additions such as Apple Edge and java script certainly show a much needed change for FBT, the share price and shareholders.

A long way to go before the new CEO can be called a success and with the cash burn are still in need of a couple of RNS worthy contracts...

NAB is critical, it will be expensive to attend so let's hope it proves to be a financial and PR success....
And if we can win the Emmy that should be much needed 'free Marketing' ...

Promising signs but no champagne as yet.... GL

pat_cash,

I assume you haven't invested in small cap oilers!

Yes, CV's are useful tools when assessing potential employees, as are referees etc. and can be useful in the investment game to. However, what I am saying is, I don't care about that, all I care about is results. I didn't assess IM as a potential CEO so that wasn't up to me, his CV prior to FBT is ok, I'm not blown away by it.

If someone like Mark Zuckerberg, (a university dropout), with no CV but drive, passion and determination came to me with an idea I might be interested whereas someone with a great CV might ruin a company like a CEO I worked under previously.

Anyway, I understand what you are saying. My concern was that IM was not bringing attention to FBT. It appears he may have bided his time wisely and has thrown the dice now. Let's see where we go from here.

McSean, you appear to have missed the point entirely – results don’t happen overnight. And you should care about CV’s – it’s one of the business world’s tools for assessing pedigree and potential. Get the right person in and the results follow.

Mcsean

Are you suggesting that we should be back at 10p when Aziz left?

Are things really better now than then to justify 10p?

What about the Technology same better or worse?

pat_cash I don't care a fig for someone's CV, results are what matter. We're still not back to where we were when Aziz announced his departure.

cab1, yes, raising was about half the market price when gave the interview.

McSean – a decent CEO walking into the situation this company was in doesn’t increase the share price or make big moves overnight. Clearly there has been extensive background work, conversations, repositioning and rebranding. To think this comes about immediately is at best naïve. IMHO.
And the contrast between the current and former CEO’s CV, background, contacts and experience makes a comparison between their likely actions all the more confusing. IMHO.

When did Aziz do a fundraising at 3p ?

Manga,

True, I was very disappointed with his first six months but am impressed with the last two weeks.

IM is finally speaking to the market and that's what FBT needs. He has waited until the blackbird launch before playing his hand and it's a great hand to play.

Just hope he doesn't do an Aziz and launch a fundraising at 3p only open to IIs and those in the know.
