Totally agree... FBT hired a Product Tester about 6 months ago (Can't remember the ladies name) I thought at the time'is that on behalf of a client' .... IMHO

Any ‘huge deal’ from a Technology giant would require huge amount of testing and PoC over extended timeframe.

Speculative bet that has been going on under heavy NDA

Certainly would explain SS confidence!

I agree with you both, whether through the recent FBT job adverts (massive growth expected) or IM message re further recruitment, it almost suggests that a huge deal is being worked on if not completed (subject to bespoke tech for the client which includes AI) ...FBT do not feel the need to address financial issues or share price which is (in some ways) very positive. IMHO... GLA

If the codec is as good as fbt claim it is, therr could be a huge market for it with respect to Netflix, youtube, Amazon, Hulu, etc.



If net neutrality remains revoked and the repeal fails, Netflix et Al can expect to pay a lot more to internet service providers. If blackbird saves them even 5-10% surely they would use it.

Whether fbt can sell it to them... Google have used Forscene...

Again there seems so many options, let's hope im is focused enough to get a win on one of the opportunities.

Something I missed

Roadmap is to integrate Google Analytics into the Blackbird Video Viewer.

No need for that as a professional viewer but for consumer high traffic websites yes.

Expanded change of use for massive adoption?

What do you think?

The large enterprise customers have to ‘need it’ for us to make those big enterprise sales.

This is a fast changing industry which at last is moving in our direction.

For enterprise customers it’s also a major decision hence the long lead times.

We wait, it’s more down to the enterprise customer to adopt our technology or not.

Imho.

He put £42k of his own money in, so must like what he sees.

Lastly and most importantly, on a commercial note, over the past few months, we have signed a number of exciting new strategic Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for Blackbird in multiple regions and new sectors. This adds up to easily the most POCs the company has ever had at any one time.

The new CEO (Aug) seems a very impressive appointment, his CV looks like FBT have a formidable and driven CEO with a self chosen, fresh and commission based motivated team...There is everything to play for .... GLA and IMHO

The question was always 'Can FBT turn 'ground breaking technology' into a financial success.., Lets be honest Nobody has been able to do that to date... Time will tell If the new Sales and Marketing Team and CEO can do that, all the pieces seem to be in place but the clock is ticking ... GLA and IMHO ..

Aziz's main achievements were to issue numerous RNS's that ultimately added up to zero increase in turnover, an ATOS deal that was cancelled, a BBC POC that was stone dead and a complete failure of EVA and Captevate.

All in about 18 months.
