NickB made a point the other day which is obvious but may answer all my frustrations re Sales/Share Price/Marketing ... 'FBT are a Tech company' ... The very essence/priority/ethos of FBT may be Research and Development not Sales/Marketing and Profit... Let's all hope that shift is made in 2018 ...GLA and IMHO

To date and with regards Sales, Aziz was making a positive difference, what I liked was his media coverage i.e. interviews on Share and Tech programmes and his Morth American road trip seemed to be gathering sales traction.In some ways a good match for Mr Streater. A year on and no information to rebuke the 'personal reasons' so I would assume that's legitimate. I have no info regards his CEO credentials... GLA

You're being very generous with your praise, the youtube link was removed which brings the article dangerously close to being removed as two references are required.

The review you have is 2013, it might be better to use the 2015 version?

Part Three

This is an attempt to show the difference between other solutions and Blackbird using an Analogy

A book rather than a video!

Imagine having content that is a 500 page book
You have been tasked to publish 10 quotes from that book from pages 35, 120, 60, etc

Blackbird word editor workflow
Firstly as the book was being written it was being sent to the Cloud in the Blackbird ink!
So its already in the cloud in a format designed to edit.

Open your web browser Log into the account on any device see the book go straight to page 35 of the book then highlight the quote then clip then go straight to page 120 highlight then clip on and on until your finished then hit publish. That is a smooth and pain free process at the factory!


The Non Blackbird way

Firstly it may not be in the Cloud so you will have to image scan ALL the book in some old text format ink hey its worked for the last 200 years stop complaining.

Log into your traditional software located on your computer ( oh you may need to travel to work first!)

Then go to page 35 oh importantly you cannot do that until you have downloaded the ENTIRE book first that will take a long time. PAIN

Good news the book has downloaded to your computer sure it takes up a lot of space on your disk drive but hey we can now get to work.
Do all the clipping like before then hit publish

Oh no it has to RENDER (make a new file) then upload to the Cloud yet more delay. PAIN

What?
Problem
Important people have decided they don't want the quote on page 120 can you remove it.

PAIN that means I have to make a new rendered file and upload it again, more time more pain.

Blackbird editor no problem just remove the clip and hit the publish button no render no additional file upload faster to the finish line this is too easy even a robot could do it.

Multiply all that thousands a time a day in a big media organisation with deadlines and pressures then decide if Blackbird is the way to go.

It's an Analogy chaps not perfect!
