We cannot get sales growth without a major technical partner Microsoft Azure Cloud has huge Cloud infrastructure that is necessary to deliver services for the media industry.

Microsoft see the Media industry as a key vertical for growth but they need software Cloud solutions to run on it to attract customers.

We can be a key component in Cloud media workflow that makes it all happen.

Microsoft are trying to get multiple solutions to build a go to eco system for the media industry our solution can drive additional sales revenue from other services because it’s all connected.

So yes it’s an important milestone that we simply had to achieve with a major Cloud provider.

The Press Release was classified as RNS Reach (confirmed by the LSE)so it is not a full blooded RNS and therefore the BoD don't think it would imply annual sales growing by 10% or more. On last years turnover that would be about £65K so even in the Company's view it's not the good news that the Twitter build up implies. I fear bonio10000 may be right in his general suspicion of what is put out. Investors want to see positive sales growth and this type of advertising puff, though perhaps a harbinger of better things, is no substitute.

Perhaps FBT were trying to establish if the news, was in fact, RNS worthy.

Agree, it seems a significant milestone to me, the last few months with regards the FBT Technology (almost unnoticed by the market) has been pivotal. With the accessed of the tech, the Blackbird 'player' a matter of weeks away (IM's words), the Town News roll-out and possible significant deals imminent its all to play for.

We have been working with Microsoft since Aziz announcement IBC last September Microsoft had us on their stand I believe this partnership has been building for the last 2 years or so.
Indeed at the shareholder presentation IM said Microsoft were ‘enamouredR17; with us.

Both Avid and Adobe have a close partnership status with Microsoft for Cloud in the media industry.

Bonio I think that was just Aziz bigging it up, when in fact FBT products just sat lost on Marketplace with thousands of others. Now MSFT see the potential as we move to the cloud, that’s why we are now in the Co-Sell program, and now our products get prioritised, and pushed, to new and existing clients.

Looks like once a company meets the criteria to be on the Co-Sell program MSFT push the companies products, so very advantageous.
