15/1/2019 15:30 | Would be good to see revenue figures from azure.... | mcsean2164
15/1/2019 15:23 | Bonio I think you’ll find the Aziz announcement was regards Azure Marketplace which was back in 2016. The Co-Sell program only started piloting in 2017, according to what I’ve read. Microsoft first discussed the co-selling program at its Inspire 2017 conference. At the time, Microsoft had been doing a pilot version of the program, in which Microsoft and partners jointly took the partner's solution to market as a packaged offering. The way I read it it’s a step up for FBT. | cabi1
15/1/2019 15:15 | If it's a 'seal of approval' by Microsoft then Congratulations to everyone connected to FBT! IMHO | paulcon1
15/1/2019 15:08 | Aziz was on tape saying it. | bonio10000
15/1/2019 15:03 | Bonio i think you’ll find this is no rehash. Been reading up on the co-sell program. It’s relatively new and if you get on it it’s big news for a company like FBT. There are rigorous criteria for getting involved in the co-selling program, involving proven competency and capability, as well as having the right types of employees in the appropriate geographies. Once those are established, Microsoft will work on building a joint business plan with the partner. "Then what we would do is package up their services and ours together into our catalog," Schuster said. | cabi1
15/1/2019 14:06 | Apart from the announcement in AMs time I'm not sure that we saw any product being deployed. By contrast we know that FBT were on Microsoft's stand in October 2018, that they have at least 2 Azure based clients and now they are publicising the relationship which must have been approved by MSFT. I suppose it's like being given permission to put a Royal Warrant on your website and paperwork and adds credence to what FBT is offering. In addition they are trying to strengthen ties with AWS. Is IM back in the UK or is he still beavering away on the West Coast? | chriscallen
15/1/2019 13:45 | We were told 2017 would have significant MSFT related sales. It's been a massive delay. | bonio10000
15/1/2019 13:34 | Either way, it is news, its hitting the news feeds and generating some share interest so all good! IMHO | paulcon1
15/1/2019 13:21 | Bonio It is a peculiar announcement, as it seems like 'old news'... Perhaps an upgrade in selling/partnership status with Microsoft. That, in itself, maybe significant. GL | paulcon1
15/1/2019 13:14 | Sorry looks like my alert was a US PR News alert! | nickb
15/1/2019 13:07 | We got our rns! | nickb
15/1/2019 12:15 | We have known the sales teams have been working together for a while. It's a rehash. | bonio10000
15/1/2019 12:13 | Difficult to gauge what it means in practice. Not worthy of an rns though it seems. | nickb
15/1/2019 12:04 | There's no sign of this news on the LSE yet yet I'd certainly expect it to rate an RNS in terms of potential impact. | chriscallen
15/1/2019 12:00 | I don't think AM had got this close to MSFT: "The companies’ sales teams are working together, directly engaging new and existing customers and extolling Blackbird’s unique benefits: using the power of the cloud to enable easy and rapid clipping and publishing of live and non-live video content." So IM has managed to get MSFT sales staff to complement FBTs own team and it will enhance Blackbird's reputation as a product that can be relied on. | chriscallen
15/1/2019 11:48 | Thanks Cabi | nickb
15/1/2019 11:23 | Only FBT could string the same partnership and releases out over a number of years. It was 3 or 4 years ago that Aziz said MSFT would be selling Forscene. | bonio10000
15/1/2019 11:13 | hxxps://www.blackbir | cabi1

14/1/2019 17:02 | What happened in Vegas stays in Vegas🤭 | nickb
14/1/2019 16:26 | NickB, You're correct, CES and Porn used to be scheduled together but not anymore, Just shows how far out of the loop I am! A friend of mine had a great story from visiting Vegas that week with his girlfriend.... anyway, looks like it was all business for IM. Let's hope they actually did the business. | mcsean2164
14/1/2019 15:36 | Another epic day. In your own time IM. | bonio10000
14/1/2019 09:10 | Didn't Key Code Media sign the square root of zero deals for FBT in about 6 years? Are Bridge Digital still working for FBT? | bonio10000
12/1/2019 11:35 | ‘IM’ certainly has been busy building a US team | nickb |
