We were up 300 early doors before the NBS news sank in...pity the canc games came in the same night as results otherwise a 500 up day would be secured...The first hint NBA would be back on was at 4.33 London time 3 mins after close @ 124.75 so maybe the cause of a jump on post close trades. for a company to actually stay stable or even slightly rise on news is very rare. There was nothing driving such behavior other than solid performance. I still suspect that Flutter is sellig their retail shops to Boyle Sports who are in late stage talks to buy shops in Ireland and UK. Must be a very badly kept secret within the industry who's shops they are buying. I suspect we get an announcement soon, and Flutter takes that cash to drop debt again or perhaps even invest further in the USA.

It is surprising.

As per Bloomberg and Yahoo Finance today's closing price is GBP 124.75, as per Google Finance it is 125.98 and as per ADVFN it is GBP 126.20

That's big, FanDuel just need to officially launch with boys in the state now, hopefully this speeds up the launch. At the moment they have until 19th September to sweep up as many customers remotely as possible. Make hay while the sun shines!!

The IL launch doesn't mean much when there is currently no remote registration in the state.

This article is worrying though about their migration gone wrong. In a nascent market, you can't be making mistakes like this or all your customers will hop to your competitors.

I think it was just to pay down stars debt, and give them enough cash if a small bolt on opportunity arose.
