exactly my problem parrett - I wait for retracement but it doesn't always come - but better than buying mid-morning only to see the stock come off in the afternoon - that leaves an even nastier taste in ones mouth and in the wallet!

what do you do ondays when your main watchlist shares trade up pretty much from the open - do you wait for a retracement or just leave alone (day trading i mean)

thanks

PWcarnall - I closed my UTF long on Fridat as intraday it was up some 15%. It seems to be pausing for a breather today but the graph clearly indicates their is firther upside and I will get back on this trade once I see some serious buying action. \Hope that helps.

This is my first post. Have been lurking for awhile, trying to learn as much as possible.

I have been a growth investor for many years, trying to learn the trading version of this "game".

Long FRX, from Friday.

LLUCKY

Landmark case re Tesco/Levis about the right of retailers to sell branded goods at a fraction of the price of branded outlets. Another case of good old rip of Britain. All about grey imports and the importance of "place" in the marketing mix.

Will effect many retailers and of course the profits of branded business.
