16/11/2007 10:43 | Take a look - £15K shares sold over the last fortnight and it's wiped £1.2m off the mkt cap. CR | cockneyrebel
16/11/2007 10:40 | Do any of the 3 sellers today actually know what they were invested in here? ISA'able - £3m cash, £6.5m mkt cap, 7% yield - strong trading statement, 66% growth, well run. These actually manage property rather than own it like BLND. Try reading the recent Iterim Management Statement made just mid Sep: INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT Fletcher King Plc is today publishing its Interim Management Statement relating to the period 1 May to 31 July 2007. The Company's strong performance seen in the last financial year has continued into the current year. All sectors of the business are performing in line with expectation. Our balance sheet remains strong and there has been no significant change in the financial position during the period. The volatility of the financial markets has had, thus far, little affect on the Company's transaction business. The investment market has entered a period of uncertainty and property is being repriced. Transaction volumes are always low during the summer months, as a result of which, new price levels are not yet established. We expect prime property to remain at or very close to previous levels but secondary property is seeing values falling. We expect to see some good buying opportunities in the coming months." -------------------- The stock is illiquid - 3 trades today for a total of around £5K (11K shares) I think there's a total of 20K shares sold over the last fortnight lol - but that's how illiquidity works - wait till punters are tryning to buy 5Ks in a run upwards. CR | cockneyrebel
14/11/2007 13:18 | A safe 6.2% yield and £3m in cash - mkt cap £7m - hideously cheap here imo. Even Freddy has been sniffing! CR | cockneyrebel
08/11/2007 19:04 | YEP they're looking buyers anyhow,could have bought at 80p today that's just a penny spread. | battlebus
08/11/2007 11:00 | This will look like buy of the year come Christmas I expect. CR | cockneyrebel
02/11/2007 10:26 | Take a look at the recent chart - looks like a scaled up version of the fall in late 05 - the shares doubled and more in 12 months after that. CR | cockneyrebel
23/10/2007 09:35 | Think I just moved the bid up again :-) CR | cockneyrebel
22/10/2007 18:25 | Interesting that all the trades today look like sells but they are in fact all buys, I know the buyers. Great to buy when the market is throwing them at you at just over bid :-) I reckon the results in Jan could be rather good battlebus. Everything to do with property has been sold off randomly. These have near £3m cash, pay a yield of 5.8% which was a big increase over the previous year of over 50% which suggests some confidence. And on top of that they said this year has started strongly and they said that 4.5 months into H1. 22/10/2007 15:55 | My thoughts exactly C.R. not as prone to the downturn as you might think, any thing under £1 is very cheap long term. | battlebus
22/10/2007 13:49 | Well Frauddy, you made me look at these again and looks like they are a steal here with all that cash and such a yield. No wonder you have been sniffing. Just picked myself up 7.5K @ 81p which is jolly dee imo. CR | cockneyrebel
14/10/2007 10:59 | Yep Frauddy, I sold back in June when I saw the residential property market turning and started shorting property. And I agree the last place you want to be at the moment is long property related stocks in any way imo. CR | cockneyrebel
14/10/2007 10:03 | Freddy do you believe property is still a long term winner? | battlebus
10/10/2007 18:28 | They are being careful enough to not give them away keeping that offer at 85p or i'd be in for more myself.Long term property will recover not that FLK have anything to worry about its just sentiment. | battlebus
10/10/2007 09:16 | Even more below what i paid! If they stay here for a few more months i'll be topping u with a few more. | bloodsports
14/9/2007 12:51 | Yep adapt to agree-been looking at them for a while, they been in the old man's portfiolio for years he done nicely with them. Hope it continues | bloodsports
14/9/2007 08:57 | Doom and gloom everywhere property prices, financial lending etc does not change my opinion that this is a good stock. | battlebus
14/9/2007 08:10 | Below what i paid and i thought i had them at a good price. Shows what i know. | bloodsports
13/9/2007 14:07 | ye i just saw that they cant be bad. Think they at lowish levels -lost a few more pence so far today. | bloodsports
11/9/2007 14:47 | Upbeat statement today saying that market turmoil has not so far affected business and the new year has started well. | battlebus
05/9/2007 08:10 | Brought in a few weeks ago at 93/94 ish. Think they are a good long term buy. | bloodsports
31/8/2007 07:01 | Still a long way to go here, not one mm would bite at below the bid yesterday. | battlebus
31/8/2007 06:17 | battlebus, yes, can understand the mark down but my main point which I didn't make clear was that there were NO TRADES. Given the current market turmoil and the run we have enjoyed I would have thought some would have taken their profits at this point, reported trades do not reflect this unless there is some book building going on. Time will tell, so will hang on for now. Sorry to confuse. | bigmolly
29/8/2007 17:51 | Big molly isn't that what happens when the shares go ex divi,3.5p dividend so down 4p? | battlebus
29/8/2007 16:09 | Ex div day, MMs marked it down 4p and not one share traded. Interesting? | bigmolly |
