Not so sure about £1 which would be nice but that's another 30%, however looks like it's going to take the 70p resistance out which will then hopefully turn to a support area.

I still think this is a easy take out for someone, will stay with it for the yield.

take care

It must be getting on to an all time high. Onwards to a 100p by the end of the year.

Ticking along very nice, wouldn't think there are very many of these in free float hence generally following mkt direction.

Nice!!!

Still ticking up.There does not appear to be an obvious reason apart from robust share prices in commercial property.

Hi Churchill2

The RNS today stated that a director of Urban bought 75000 shares does this mean they are expecting some action or some news.

I cannot see any reason for the gradual tick up in the share price. Hardly any activity in the shares so will just have to wait and see.

Hi fellow long-term holders, this stock has been kind to us. So I believe we should appreciate the fact that in spite of market volatility it tends to hold it own while providing a steady stream of income via dividends. How many other stocks can we all say that about? No sleepless nights here. With property sales peaking again I believe FLK'S forthcoming results will be good.

ALL THE BEST

Interesting up 4% with no trades. Must be close to all time high. Perhaps Bigmolly is right.

That's very honest of you NTV.

I didn't think the £237K was of any concern and without trying to ramp I just think FLK is an excellent long termer.

I also think one of these days of continuing M and A acticity that it will get swept up.

Take care.

This company look very solid and they pay a handsome dividend - in for the long term

Ships 1 sold with a return of 35% p.a. That should negate that £237k.

A new rugulated fund to be launched, have to assume the SHIPS 1 investors will be happy to go again based on that performance.

Hey, thanks churchill2! I'll take that as a compliment, despite the share magazines penchant for writing rubbish a lot of the time....looks like others are agreeing with me about FLK too.

Excellent review. You could get a job with one of the share magazines.

Hmmm....good pipeline, but the results are cunningly flattered by the £237k "other income" compensation on head office. Without that the adjusted PBT would have been down from £441k last year to £363k this year - and H2 profits would have been down to £150k from £213k in H1.

The divi is good and that pipeline looks encouraging, but the results were not good. No reason to buy back in yet imo unless you like dividends - could be another few months of stagnation and drift for the price unless there's some corporate action or the market takes a favourable view of that pipeline over and above the pretty average results.

some good size transactions to be completed in first half (£60m)
by then reits should be in full swing

Certainly looks like there is a buyer for these currently.

Figures due out shortly expecting them to be good. FK issue nearly all its profit as dividends so it is an income rather than a growth stock. Some years ago David Fletcher said he received offers for the Company on a regular basis so I expect it will happen one day. It would be attractive to other companies in this line of business plus David Fletcher is not getting any younger. One drawback is lack of liquidity in the shares if they went through a bad patch. Have been a good investment for me.

Haven't visited their website for a while, but business look quite brisk/positive judging from this page:

Yes! Very quiet. But why the spike? Is it for no particular reason like the massive spike that took us to nearly 70p or is there some substance this time?

Hmm.... interesting!
