More director purchases albeit only 15k from a non exec. Lots of positives; no covid traces on trains in a recent study, staycations this year, trainline seeing underlying growth in ticket sales all point towards organic growth here, we have a c.41p cash return to look forward to, a strong balance sheet and the cherry on the cake would be a Greyhound sale! Ok i’m asking too much on the dog of the business…. |
Encouraging to see the Director purchases after the closed period end. By my calcs we will have 41p returned as a special and forecast earnings is around 5p for 2022 so we are trading on a forward PE of around 8 times. With a strong balance sheet, economy opening up and the ESG angle (public transport) this looks a decent long term hold for me. |
