JEFFERIES RAISES FIRSTGROUP PRICE TARGET TO 100 (80) PENCE - 'BUY' |
W anks what a nump ty you are , posting 💩 all day , you need your head examined 🤡 |
Me and my bird Sheila have buy orders at 11p and 7p respectively
Hope this is helping the normal ones and minjsniffing sheepshaggers |
Great name Mess..just like your portfolio.
My nob remains off the table..Mess nob remains on the table.
No shortage of thick minjsniffing investors in this game.
Hope the 7p target is helping |
25% drop from Friday peak. News seemed to be better than expected. Lots of options available to the company |
I see w anker fav comment is nob on the table ,posts that one everywhere, what does it mean? Never heard that before. But i must say you are a total w anker. |
Chess..if you take out the Ch..put in an M..it will show you your current level of thinking.
That's why my nob is not on the table at the mo
Hope the 7p entry target helps |
Still strong selling pressure, looking at 2p lower to start, could be in 60s by friday. , 5p to 8p falls is now the norm. Usually if starts negative finishes negative. |
Reason for the drop IMO. First Bus / US is the jewel in the crown. They are selling the crown jewels to focus on the UK. Except (1) they can’t find a buyer for Greyhound which will suffer further write downs this year (its worth broadly nil but on the books at £180m), in the UK the direction of travel is for rail nationalisation which then just leaves UK buses. Not particularly attractive and low growth? All IMO, just trying to figure out the drop. |
Stagecoach up 1% on week go ahead up 7% on week and first group down 20% on week says it all. |
Agree with you Chess ...Very tricky call.
Well managed company BUT.... and there are too many BUTs at the moment.
Am monitoring and expecting the share price to re-vist the sixties. Will probably re-invest then. |
Many folks will remain reluctant to get out and about, and even more reluctant to use public transport, for many many months to come.
Also, government support which has kept services afloat during the pandemic, will cease at some point (I heard 8 weeks after the 'end of the crisis', but have no idea what that really means).
Working from home will also remain a thing.. |
It's not only the busses though. There is going to be a massive uplift in train travel with people holidaying at home as well.
Don't understand the logic which is great as it leads to an exceptional price level to buy in at. |
why would business be bad for bus companies post herd immunity? |
Support level is showing at 74p ,but looking weak, ,if falls below 74p which unfortunately is looking possible, because of large drop over past few days 63p is next drop down. |
Reading across from the NEX thread HSBC have downgraded Bus Companies |
Wouldn't it be cheaper to buy the company |
Now here's a scenario what would happen to share price if EQT, pulled out, before the news share price was 84p now at 75p .this market is not making any sense to me,.. |
Just having a look at the sells, on L2 and massive amounts going through, seen one at 78p , looks like a lot of pi s getting out, |
Just to add that the 30p could be the first return to shareholders and there may be more. If I were an Insti I would short this down to buy in cheap as I could.
* Ongoing FirstGroup will be a leader in public transportation focused on the UK, with a strong platform on which to create sustainable value:
* Well-capitalised and de-risked balance sheet * Cash generative operating model that will support an attractive dividend * Critical enabler of economic, social and environmental goals at key inflection point for public transport
* Transaction subject to FirstGroup shareholder approval; circular to be published as soon as practicable * Sale completion expected in calendar H2 2021 following North American regulatory approval timetable * Recent trading: Group expects adjusted operating profit for the 2021 financial year to be ahead of management's previous expectations; current liquidity in excess of £900m |
E MONEY. Any thoughts on greyhound, do you think first will get any money, what will they do if cant sell? |
If you knock the 30p/share return of value off the sp, the market cap is c. £600m.
The remaining UK businesses:
100m net debt Profitability difficult to know. Op profit in y/e Mar 2020 was c. £100m and central costs were 67m. 2021 and 2022 could be anything. If can get back to 100m op profit and slash central 60% you get c. 60m pbt, 45m pat.
So it's not wildly cheap here. Might go up a bit. Might fall further. |
Sanks, are you sure your spelling your name right , maybe take of the S replace with a W ,as you are a complete w an ker. |
Another -70p and I'm in Entry target 7p
Hope this helps |
