14/3/2020 16:07 | FDI now down to 0.13p! and that's the post consolidation price!!! I remember £2 per share PRE Consolidation! | andy
05/3/2020 23:24 | FDI up today, though I can't understand why. | andy
03/3/2020 13:03 | dave, You're kidding, right? Right? Another new all time, low achieved today, not a surprise really unless people want shares in a private company better to sell and get anything back they can. I know the cost saving of not having an AIM listing is significant but they could have listed them on Britdaq just to allow trading going forward, on a matched bargain basis at minimal cost. | andy
26/2/2020 08:35 | Will FDI be a takeover target? | davethehorse
25/2/2020 22:18 | Go Phil Kenny, go Phil Kenny go | treade32
25/2/2020 15:54 | Sad, bollucks and cost me a fortune. No one to blame but me. Though a lot of bad luck for them I think. Shud have stuck with gold. | astjgroom
25/2/2020 14:45 | dave, Good question! Why buy now? | andy
25/2/2020 13:43 | Who's buying still?? | davethehorse
25/2/2020 11:57 | How are you allowed to "quit aim" when aim has been a mechanism for funding FDI? Surely FDI would have to go into liquidation first as shareholders have be the source of funding | kirk 6
25/2/2020 09:38 | Sadly they don't ring a bell at the top. I am sure there is the odd success story for foreign companies on AIM, but 90%+ are right old dogs. Why else list in the UK? | jack jebb
25/2/2020 09:36 | Jack, Solgold is one that springs to mind, in Ecuador, EUA another, in Russia. Both could still go wrong of course but currently doing OK share price wise at least. FDI made a lot of money for people on the rise to £2 (pre consolidation!), the trick was knowing when to gt off the train. | andy
25/2/2020 09:14 | I have yet to find an AIM company that operates abroard that has been a success for shareholders. I am sure there must be one. | jack jebb
25/2/2020 08:56 | FDI are delisting from AIM! And they already have 74.19% of supporting votes, so only need another 0.81% to carry the day! I have thought this was going to happen for the last couple of years, so not a surprise for me. ------- Firestone Diamonds plc (AIM: FDI), the AIM-quoted diamond mining company, announces that a circular (the "Circular") has been posted to Shareholders today convening a General Meeting to be held at 10.30 a.m. on 13 March 2020 to approve the cancellation of the admission of the Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM (the "Cancellation"). The AIM Rules require that, unless the London Stock Exchange otherwise agrees, the Cancellation must be conditional upon the consent of not less than 75 per cent of votes cast by the Shareholders, given in a general meeting of the Company. Gowlings offices at 4, More Riverside if anyone wishes to attend he last rites..... | andy
25/2/2020 08:51 | Corrientes, Yes everyone says they can take the costs out but they have a prepared answer for that. It's all a secondary scam, and sadly some fall for it. | andy
25/2/2020 08:37 | Andy, our usual response to them is to say that 'they' can take any costs out of her winnings, and they can give her the balance. For some reason, the phone call then stops. It is a total mystery to me. Must be there's a suckers list that's been passed from pillar to post over the years, and scammers go on to scam other scammers ! I can think of no other explanation. Looking at the share performance over the years, the whole company seems a bit strange, and I'm being polite here, but wouldn't dream of saying anything about a connection somewhere along the line.It must just be bad luck for shareholders. | corrientes
25/2/2020 07:30 | Re: Todays RNS... what a shame, this started out as seemingly a well run outfit with a solid mine development plan but has turned into a crock of s##t. Thankfully I'm not a holder now but the announced plan to delist from AIM will basically wipe out any remaining shareholder value in the stampede for the door while shares can still be traded. Another AIM horror show for PIs. | rollthedice
24/2/2020 23:24 | corrientes, It's really strange you'd think they would have given up by now. They obviously have an old shareholder list. Did your wife ask what the next step is? At some point they will ask for cash, and I wonder how much they're asking for? Maybe next time she could go along with them for a while until they produce the 'sting'? | andy
24/2/2020 20:30 | Andy - After what is it, 15 years or so,my wife still getting phone calls about selling her FDI shares for a small fortune. She sold them many, many years ago. Must be one of the longest running scams of all time ! | corrientes
21/2/2020 08:00 | Post 4092 moderated for spamming. | andy
21/2/2020 07:59 | Doesn't read too well: | andy
20/2/2020 13:12 | 35 trades so far, most went through first thing, slowed to a trickle now and back down to 0.9p. | andy |
