Wow, FDI went down below 1p without touching the sides!

Well a sub 1p price looked possible, and now we have it, a bit quicker than anticipated though.

Since neogations with major shareholders they are just under the 30% threshold that's required for a takover. Read july 1st RNS.....we should get some news soon

Could it be a big diamond find? Or perhaps a TAKEOVER bid as main shareholder almost has 30%. Has the share price been manipulated down for a takover offer? I've seen this so many times recently

Laptop,

What was the source of that information please?

When did the "closed period" start, out of interest?

Pacific Road (bondholders) haven’t yet confirmed what the new terms will be in return for the 3 covenant breaches.

I personally think the reason that they have allowed FDI a break in issuing shares for interest is simply because the know they would be accepting worthless paper as equity wipeout highly likely.

There’s over 50 million still owed if you deduct cash in bank and not many big stones are appearing.

The absence of director stock purchases makes a very powerful statement.

Hope I’m wrong but mm’s had this figured out long time before us hence the walking down process.

Bosma working in league with them and simple case of screw shareholders. That’s why there was no attempt to pay down debt earlier.

All in my opinion and still holding my stock as not worth selling with % losses involved.

Maybe a huge diamond turns up but as buywell pointed out timing of the finds all a bit convenient and don’t trust Bosma. Says in interviews “good time to invest if you believe in diamond prices es recovering” and then doesn’t eat what he serves.

Laptop,

Well we're only 11 months from June 2020, it'll come around sooner than you think.

The debt is 3 times the cash in the bank, and that is probably the problem of the lenders, but they have a large position and representation on the BOD, so shouldn't be ignored.

Yes but with debt payments deferred until June 2020 it's not much of an issue. Don't forget MCAP only £7 million also and 1p NOMINAL value. Also the worlds largest diamond mine close 2020. Diamond price should rise this giving a much better profit here. share price is very cheap if u believe that the diamond market will recover

Laptop,

The large debt position is far higher than the cash position.

It's very cheap at the moment, a good time to build a position. NOMINAL value is 1p so safe enough. $26 million cash too

Many years ago when one major shareholder in FDI didnt like the deal with Kopane.

From memory think share price was around 46 pence FDI before announcement. Was 50% profit, since that time it got hammered back to pennies and back up to over 50 and now at this level.

In 2011 I think.

Remember Copland and a few others on LSE board ...still in now I believe.

Matt,

You don't remember the heady days on 2 per share then?

And that was pre-consolidation!

And now tango are mining Oena, one that FDI let slip.....

Heading for sub a penny this? Just over a 10k sale got 1.01 pence.

Used to hold and a large profit at the time (held around a year though) when the main Institution was buying during takeover at 32/33 pence if memory serves first time around.

This has to be cheap - but how much cheaper?

Looked at this around 5 pence and decided against it - would have been down 80%.

Noted this hit over 50 pence 2.5 year ago - wow
