Andy - you are right - they did find a jewel or maybe a couple more stones before shutting down!

Always checking in Andy and i was tempted to post on todays move but i didn't want to come across to eager lol. I keep checking because i don't want to call it at the moment given the board change. Obviously i hope it will be for the better and benefit all us PI's.

16 days without a post, a new record surely?

Just shows the total lack of interest in this stock.

SP on the rise as predicted

3.25p chart resistance

Key level that ....

Still a POS mind ... but now with a frosted topping of De Beers fudge chunks

Interesting development in CHL Andy re the arrest of the Government Minister on corruption charges

SP will probably rise today though .... maybe 3.25p once more soon

''De Beers'' will do that

Investors have very selective memories , and newbes don't always look back

So the placing was to pay the new CEO's wages then

Plus Wilkes's Golden Goodbye

andy - stop worrying about shareholder funds " there arn`t any ! "

the question is , is the board going to be changed because there is new money willing to take the helm ? or as you say just another financial favour to a mate ?
as a gambling man im going with the former .

The very obvious question is what is his compensation?

And the second one is how much is Tim Wilkes being compensated in his new role.

If the grand total of those two questions exceeds Tim's current salary, it just looks like another snout in the trough that is in fact shareholder funds.

RNS - new CEO, former de Beers man, replaces Wilkes, who remains a NED. Wonder how much this adds to the wages bill?

was just repeating myself after way too many ciders !
1. you would`nt, nor should you a couple of months back , unless you have the midas touch with your timing ? You will need the real money to decide wether they wish to fund this any further or not ?
2. should this happen the remaining mine/s will be functioning ? monumental consolidation - present holders lose all but everything ( unlucky ) .
3.If and when the share price falls back after this consolidation then its time
to take a look

its not rocket science , so plain to see this was going nowhere unless there is massive fund raising ? think it a shame that those on this thread with the same view, were demonised by the " we have blue diamonds , diamond sales in antwerp , raising money from selling off assets - brigade .

now philately -thats a better proposition - contact stanley gibbons .
regards .

Why would you buy now when:
1. You have no idea whether or not they will be able to raise the huge amount of capital necessary to even think of making their only real asset commercially viable, and
2. When the existing plant at said only real asset will probably, according to FDI themselves, be shut down for up to two years, thus rendering the Company income-less for that period?

Answers on the back of a postage stamp.

Varrirob,

I will still be here, just won't be able to moderate the thread like before.

I just thought I should explain why I have taken this step.

Black or blue Andy,I think we all share the common pain of holding these shares. I take it you will still be posting? There can't be many of us PI's left holding here. I'll end up nobby no mates if you depart.
