"I actually don't mind losing when its simply down to a company's performance"

The performance here operationally, strategically and financially, has been dire. If you 'don't mind losing' when its due to those issues it takes investor apathy to a new level.

Rob, if I were not able to afford losing I would keep it in the dodgy banks. As you know we win some and lose on others. I actually don't mind losing when it's simply down to a company's performance, which I might have misread - on the whole, when I'm in it's for the long term because I'm an investor. What I do resent however, is the artificiality of the markets over recent years with all the non-investment dodgy financial instruments to which the gamblers subscribe. If individuals take these up without all the transparent dross posted, it wouldn't be so bad although still distorting the true mkt; sadly, it is abundantly clear that posters are clustering together in campaigns to actively move sentiment irrespective of actual fundamentals. The Govt will eventually have to recognise the elephant in the room following which they will no doubt begin to root out the miscreants in the fashion of Yewtree and Elveden. It may take years to restore mkt integrity but, fortunately, there is ample evidence posted on forums such as this that will identify those responsible for the nonsense regardless of time elapsed.

Meanwhile, I'll continue to do my own thing no matter what the bashers or pumpers say.

Are you not at all concerned space. I have held these for years and am at a significant loss. Although i don't believe in giving a running commentary everytime the share price drops i also can't ignore the fact that it is all hanging in the balance at the moment. I would love to see FDI be thrown a lifeline. I think if there was one then there would have to be a serious shake up of the management. I can't do anything except watch this play out to one conclusion or another but we aren't in a great position currently.

Mr. K,

I agree.

I have been saying for at least two years that phase 2 will not become reality as they won't be able to finance it, and we must surely be close to confirmation of that now?

And as for the rubbish spouted by space, where is the power supply promised for Q2 2012?

At the AGM 2013 FDI confirmed it was not even agreed or approved the the Lesotho government!

Disgraceful performance Bam Bam Rumble, I am sure you will agree.

Who would have thought that since the arrival of Mr Wilkes as CEO he has managed to destroy the share price more than Mr P Kenny and taking into consideration the duration of which they were both CEO's of the company.

Mr Wilkes has caused more destruction in just a couple of years whereas it took Mr Kenny nearly a decade.

How can this failure sleep at night and continue to draw is undeserved salary.

Like I said before, I would not trust him running a tap!

The destruction of shareholder value continues

2011 -66%
2012 -66%
2013 -39% so far. To match previous years' performance should end the year at 1.3p

Meanwhile the CEO (on $560,000 per annum) sips champagne from his Cape Town mansion

"Cheers"

Re GOLD drop which could still carry on to circa $800 chartwise

Do you think this will impact on the price of diamonds ?

Not long now until this finally goes pop.

Andy - I even asked them about upfront fees, admin or otherwise, and she said no. That's what makes this very odd and intriguing. I've told them so many times about the very out of date mailing list.

corrientes,

Next time they ring, tell them they can have mine for anything between £8 and £15!

They can deduct the 'administration fee' from my consideration, rather than me have to go to the bother of sending it in advance though.

I guess the copy of the share register they have is years old.......

Just had my umpteenth call from someone offering to buy the FDI shares which were sold years ago now. These calls been coming from different people,at fairly regular intervals for at least three years now, probably a good deal longer.I said their mailing list was so out of date it wasn't true. Even my wife now knows the patter and can answer equally glibly when she knows nothing about the company, or indeed shares generally.

The lady said her boss wanted to buy 51% of the shares and was offering £8 to £15 each.Trying my hardest not to fall off my chair, I said buy them in the market place for 3p each. they're a tiny bit cheaper. She said that was a good idea !!!

I've had so many calls from so many people about these shares over the years, that I wonder what it's really all about.I can't be bothered to trace the source, as someone here said I should do,but maybe I should for its totally illogical.

Maybe its just a monitoring programme regularly undertaken by the organising body Boiler House (Spain) Limited for the benefit of their own subscribers to make sure their list of potential victims is always up to date LOL.

Mr K,

Fair point a few posts ago about management not having much skin in the game, and the same can be said for many AIM listed stocks, where they prefer to play with other people's money and take free options which are of course, risk free, a nice one way bet!

This looks terminal now, I have to admit.
