Funny they they drop the offer to 15.5 from 15.8 yet online you couldn’t buy 100 at 15.8 and still can’t at 15.5.

Just noticed someone paid a premium for 72k which is encouraging

Every little helps. I can currently sell a large chunk at offer price online so clearly a buyer about.

A little bit of interest over the last couple of days. Just doing some dummy trades online and they are bidding in large volumes above 13.6. So I would hope for a gradual and sustainable re rate northwards from here

Yes. Most retail investors will want to see the results rather than take a punt on what may happen. It is time for the company the execute their business plan and deliver profits. If they do that the share price will take care of itself

Nick and Graham have always been good at putting their money where their mouth is, often at great cost in recent years! JC has bought a stack especially considering how many options he has if this succeeds but nothing from Collinson or Herrick, the NEDs.

I know some NEDs think it is a conflict of interest to also hold shares but anyone had any contact with either of these, what are they doing to earn their fees?

Also demonstrates that there was little retail interest yesterday with Directors responsible for most of the buys.

Another good sign with Directors putting their hand in their pocket. We could do with a few of the others following their lead.

It has been a long arduous journey but it definitely looks like things are a changing here. The clear path to GM improvement is in place and they now seem to be more optimistic in being able to meet demand. John is more bullish than I have ever known him. He generally calls a spade a spade so I think his new found chipper demeanor is quite significant.

Brokers will be upgrading profit numbers not downgrading them after this. I am always hopeful that we see a long awaited return of the word exceed alongside profit numbers (rather than debt) in future trading updates!

Topvest,

If they can sort out the logistical issues, surely this is cheap. Moreover, it is priced on the basis they are unlikely to do so, hence why the re-rating will be sharp in the event they do start to deliver. But, if this year they do not I fully accept that further excuses would be unreasonable.

Not that impressed with their video presentation. Just vaguely interested, but its not going to make my watch list. It's been another rubbish year, not a good year...not impressed!

Decent update - although they still need to get their act together. Repeatedly hiding behind logistical issues starts to appear like a case of kicking the can down the road. Every company is facing the same issues, they need to get things moving since they have had sufficient time to do so.

I am also encouraged that the MM’s are bidding for large amounts of stock above mid price online. So hopefully a move north isn’t far away.

I would guess that went as part of the deal, which I believe finalises this month. Once that finalises we will get a holdings notification.
Honeywell would see FA. As a prime European target. However yesterdays announcement with c35mil future sales would have to be a consideration if an offer were to be made. So although they are vulnerable at these levels any successful bid would have to be a significant multiple of todays share price.
I would like to see the Directors buying shares as presumably they are out of a closed period now.

I am not selling now. I have had a few shares that have reached the supposed Tipping Point which then proceeding to tip downwards. But I think this week is the tipping point. Now what about that Newell stake ?

They should undoubtedly be higher. I appreciate you need liquidity to sell any size but if you have held during the last few years this is not the time to be selling.

I think that is fair microscope. I am a long suffering and well under water shareholder which has far too many of these. It has been painful reading most of the results and opening them with trepidation has been the order of the day. But I think the last 2 days had changed the balance here and while challenges remain the fact that a placing doesn't now seem likely is massive. Early days but this should be higher I think

It's clear that they still face severe challenges from the 'current' global supply chain issues and that the 'cost mitigations and price adjustments' referred to will be critical in their ability to reach the end of 2022 ebitda positive situation targeted. Also I think the bank and coronavirus loan schemes must have cut them some slack as the cash of 0.1 million at the end of 2021 and aim to be cash generative by the end of 2022 don't really tally otherwise. All that said, and these would be my main caveats, together with a somewhat 'helpful' revenue recognition strategy, this is a far more encouraging statement than I anticipated. The pent up demand is undoubtedly there and going forward Techem will be pivotal in shaping the company's longer term prospects.Much will depend on the global supply chain improving and meeting their pricing and cost cutting aims (price increases and redundancies?) to navigate the next few potentially uncertain months .For the brave I think there's a lot more to go for now and flickers of light at the end of what has been a very long tunnel.
