Tbh, having seen it's effects elsewhere, I'd prefer to see the Company using such funds to institute a share buyback policy, which would introduce improved share price stability and enable the Company's value to better reflect fundamentals rather than the impact of short-termers and traders.

Be nice to see us heading back to over a quid. Be good to see a decision on re-instating the dividend with the interims. Am a right that there's been nothing further said since this last September? "The Board is minded to reinstate a dividend for F21 and will provide an update as these unknowns pass and our outlook is more certain."

An impressive TS. Fif are a really well-run company who have managed to keep a close watch on debt, whilst remaining open to astute growth opportunities.

It would be nice if FIF find themselves in a position to commence a share buyback scheme to mop the casual sells and hence attenuate the crazy share price volatility. Year in year out they perform well and yet the share price yoyos wildly despite their sound fundamentals. The share buyback has been a major influence in the recent surge in one of my other shares MWE.

The price rise is only half baked.

Always beat yourself up if the decision was wrong - work out why you were wrong and adapt your trading style.

yes I 'nipped out' of 50% of mine at about 68p last week, similarly regretting the action with good old hindsight!

Nipping in and out of this. It's flying higher. Should have hung on from when highlighted down near 53p. Psychological scars from the slow coach turtle can get in the way!

Cenkos; Finsbury’s AGM statement confirms that trading has remained resilient in FY21E, with the group expecting to deliver improved revenue and profitability this year. As such, with visibility improving, we are reinstating forecasts (FY21E Adj EBITDA of £26.0m). We also update our rating to Buy (from Under Review), which is driven by the group’s low valuation (c7.7x FY21E P/E), planned reinstatement of the dividend (3.8% yield), and the increasing levels of FCF available to shareholders (11% FCF yield) now that the group has reached the end of a period of heavy investment.

Nice statement - resilient through the crisis and now recovering well. Also appears to be a reasonably bullish forward statement. Unless the ole eyes are deceiving, it would appear the price has broken out and is up at 68p. (double checks...) Wow, it really is! Well done for persevering with the turtle.

So gents, do we expect fireworks and a massive rise tomorrow? You have 26 minutes to advise :) I will openly admit to having done no research on FIF recently, and have not even looked at the financials for about 24 months... Thanks!

I have held FIF for a number of years and admire the company, but the share price has gone nowhere (backwards, actually), despite the commendable efforts of management. I have reluctantly concluded that it is going to be a very long haul and that there are much better opportunities elsewhere, given current market conditions. So, I sold out a couple of days ago, at a loss. I wish the company well.
