It wont happen because they don't want it. It doesn't matter what we think or want.

I have always said brexit wont happen the first time because they wont get it through Parliament we will either have a an election or another referendum.

Brexit will have no bearing on any of us as we will still be in the EEC in 20 years time.

Brexit has no bearing on this company, the future of 5G way more important, and the relationships of FTC! Think this is consolidating, doubled this year already!

Its probably priced in ages ago. They will come to an agreement before the deadline.

My old buying a pound for 20p analogy still holds true.October sell off followed by a rally to new year would be my guess on the wider markets - no reason to think any different with FTC.

Volsung it does look like an head and shoulders but if it played out it would go back to 8p, so not sure it would play most likely a double bottom

Not sure. Might be just MM games to get cheaper shares in advance of AGM/trading statement.

See what happens between now and lunch time tomorrow to get a feel for what will be announced Thursday.

Bought in again too early. Sold out just now. Was anxious about that head and shoulders but disregarded it. Mind you you will probably lose on any share buy now for the next month or so.

kazoom - thanks. To me FTC is worth a good stake at this price.

icejelly - yes there is a potential/probable positive in that.

AIUI there are four main players in the mobile network infrastructure market with (very) roughly equal shares : Nokia, Ericsson, Huawei & ZTE.

Huawei are been frozen out of some Western markets & ZTE in some instances I believe. So potentially Nokia & Ericsson stand to gain - Filtronic are partnered with Nokia.

Worth remembering of course that AFAIK Filtronic are not sole suppliers to Nokia.

Also I wonder if there is the possibility of a backlash, with the two western co.s being frozen out of the likes of China, Russia etc.? (Not sure what share they would expect to get in those markets anyway?)

Overall I would say it is a positive, but hard to quantify at this stage imho.

I would be interested to hear if there is any comment on the multi-country ban on Chinese 5G equipment (I wouldn't trust Chinese snooping/spying) and whether that might affect FTC business positively.
